Mired in worry?

I do not know about you, but lately I have been worrying about the election. I think it will be a national tragedy if Kerry and his personal injury trial lawyer running mate are elected. It makes me sick to look at either of them, and I stopped watching the news several weeks ago to avoid even hearing their voices. Kerry and Ted Kennedy are the opposite of everything I believe in, yet it looks as if Kerry might have a real chance to get elected. I was praying for Bush and the election this morning and I thought about how the Bible teaches us not to worry.
I should just vote for Bush and put it behind me, and that is what I am trying, unsuccessfully to do.

The Bible warns that the world will become increasingly controlled by those who oppose Christian values, the anti-Christs. I believe that it is happening already. This election is a real test and the choice is clearer than it has been in many years. Kerry voted to allow the barbaric practice of partial birth abortion, whereby a child’s head is allowed to come out of the womb, whereby a doctor can use forceps to crush its skull and kill it. Kerry wants to allow gay couples to have the same rights as married couples and sees nothing wrong with homosexuality. Kerry lies constantly and has earned his title “flip flop Kerry”. There is much more, but why go over it? By now most people have made up their minds.

If this man is elected to the highest office in our land, it will be a clear indication that the majority of Americans have turned a deaf ear to basic Christian values. This is cause for great concern to me, but the Bible tells us not to worry. Sigh….Help me Lord!

But seek first the Kingdom of
God and His righteousness, and all

the day is its own trouble.
