Happy New Year! My prayer is to avoid another year like the last one. I spent entirely too much time in the hospital, albeit they did save my life and repaired my shoulder.
Like Billy Graham I’m impressed by the brevity of this life. The older I get the closer I come to entering heaven. Until then I will maintain a good life on the farm. I enjoyed my boys coming over this past week and it is mighty lonesome without them. Plenty of good food and lots of laughter. We managed to take two trophy bucks during their short stay.
All in all it was a splendid holiday. My prayer is to repeat this visit next year, Lord willing.
