I read something that was very meaningful to me, Hope is praying for rain – faith is bringing an umbrella. How can I increase my faith is a popular question among many people who are worried about their faith especially during times of grief, and stress.

It has been asked of me a hundred times how I remain faithful during those dark days that we all undergo. I’m not without hardships and tribulation in my life but through it all I maintain faith that translates into assurance that I can get through whatever fiery darts Satan throws my way. I’m 100 per cent convinced that things will get better, primarily because I have tremendous faith.

Increasing your faith is tied directly to your knowledge of God’s Holy Bible. I read it and study the Bible daily. If I happen to miss a day I feel bad about it and redouble my effort not to miss out tomorrow. Not only does my faith increase but so does my outlook on life. The Apostle Paul once said, I am content with what I have. I would like to believe that if someone was very close to me suddenly died or if I was homeless on the mean streets or some other malady I would be content as well. Faith is knowing that God will be right there with us every step of the way until we are ushered into heaven.

Hearing, (reading) the word of God daily makes you appreciate what God has done for you.  If you look at what you have in life, you’ll always have more. If you look at what you don’t have in life, you’ll never have enough. Be content and thankful for what you have.

Philippians 4:12
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
