I spent Saturday fishing a tournament with a friend. It was a very frustrating time for me. We were fishing on the bottom for Snapper in about 120 feet of water. Suddenly my friend would yell, You got a bite, you got a bite, Get Him By the time I remembered where the button was located with which to reel it in, it was too little and too late and the fish got off. My brain surgery has slowed my mind down to a crawl, (I tried this for over an hour with no success) and finally told him I would drive the boat and he could fish.

Grrrrrrrr!

Too little too late is what I believe will happen when many of us are done and this life is over. The most important thing is your relationship with Jesus Christ. Without His precious blood covering our sins, we would be lost altogether. But James said faith without works is dead. So, we need to first ensure we have accepted Christ and are in good standing and second commit to doing good works as we are led. Tomorrow my wife will attend a Bible study class that she was invited to attend. The lady putting it on I’m particularly happy to see her working for the Lord. I have been relentlessly prodding her and he husband to do something for the Lord, anything, even if it is a tiny effort . She has 40 people already enrolled and it is just the second week.

Bravo young lady! Bravo!

James 2:14
You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
