I have watched with interest the ongoing protests at colleges and universities with dismay. It is not so much the protests, after all I was a product of the ’60’s, it is more what they are protesting. None of these students were around when the holocaust occurred. I was born just as WWII ended. I watched the Nuremburg trials on a black and white television set, I saw the film footage of stacks of corpses slaughtered by the Nazis in their quest to wipe them off the face of the earth.
Many of these protestors are advocating ethnic cleansing and the complete annihilation of all the Jewish people. Can you believe this is occurring right now in the United States? They will not succeed! God protects this nation with His wrath. Although they were scattered all over the world the remnant returned to their homeland in 1948. This is vital because prophecy predicted it. The restoration of Israel to her land in 1948 is the single most impressive. fulfilled prophecy proving that we live in the end times. At the turn of the 20th century, no one would have dreamed that Israel would be back in her land, let alone occupying Jerusalem. Jerusalem is definitely at the center of geopolitics and stands alone against many enemies; Zechariah 12:3 confirms this: “On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.”
Hatred of Israel will surely continue says the Bible. Israel is the only democracy in the region with its leadership democratically elected and Israel is the only ally in that region of the United States. Attitudes will turn entirely antisemitic, and the world’s solution will be choosing the antichrist to rule the world. The antichrist will rule from his throne located in the temple of Jerusalem. He will tell everyone that only he can bring peace, but peace will not come.
The antichrist shall rule only a short time before it ends with the horrific battle of Armageddon. It is written that blood from this battle will run as high as a horse’s neck. Satan and his antichrist will be defeated and chained in a fiery pit and Jesus will setup His rule in Jerusalem for a thousand years and the earth’s people will rejoice.
I haven’t studied end times prophecy for quite a while, but the foregoing is a recap of what I remember. It may not be in Chronological order, but all the events listed will occur according to Scripture. The bottom line is time is short. Evangelize those whom you love now before these events materialize.
