So, the former Prime Minister of Japan has been assassinated. He was a good leader and a great friend of the United States. The world seems numb to the murder and death going on in today’s tumultuous times. Most world leaders expressed their sympathy with the notable exception of Biden. I’m sure he will get around to it as soon as someone pens what he is supposed to say, and he can read it off the teleprompter.
In the meantime, China is sending fighter jets into Japan’s airspace and telling them to get used to it. Putin claims that the Ukraine war is just getting started and to get used to their barbarous invasion. Wars and rumors of war. Last year it was COVID and being shut inside from the threats of deadly disease.
Migration of illegal immigrants is at an absolute all-time high and the burdens of caring for so many people is bankrupting our country especially as we enter a recession and worldwide food shortages. I looked at buying fertilizer for my food plots on the farm and prices are already astronomical. Where and when will it stop?
Schools, the media, and even Disney World are indoctrinating kids with transgender mania, racism, and a woke agenda that is baffling to me that anyone could subscribe to that garbage.
Yes, we live in a mad, mad, mad, world that is growing more insane by the day. To Bible scholars and even those who study it informally like me, it is no surprise to see the world heading for a massive collision with God. Plenty of prophecies point to what is happening right now. The question is will you be redeemed and join God in heaven, or will you enter the great tribulation alone fending for yourself.
I used to tell inmates on prison yards to take a look around. They could continue leading a life walking inside yellow lines behind razor wire just waiting for someone to stick a shiv in their carotid artery or they could have peace, love, and joy. The choice was theirs. Many chose to follow Jesus, but others just kept right on following the world and all its evil. Right is right and it leads to abundant life and wrong is wrong and leads to death.
Proverbs 14:12
There is a way which seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.
Have a great weekend and go to church this Sunday!
