So is anybody watching the latest impeachment attempt of President Trump or should I say former President Trump. According to a poll I saw last night 96.1% are not watching.
Hmmm . . . Maybe American people are not as dumb as they voted. This entire impeachment spectacle is so ridiculous I hate to waste key strokes on it. Democrats and their Looney Tunes radical financial backers hate him so much that they just cannot seem to get enough. Now Senate majority leader Schumer who is anticipating a non-conviction is all set to try a 14th amendment maneuver aimed at preventing Trump from running for or holding any public office. It’s almost certain that this action, like an impeachment conviction, does not have the votes to pass. Unless of course they allow mail-in ballot voting to include dead people, children, illegal immigrants, and convicted felons.
Maybe that is why Biden halted construction on the border wall to allow free access to an unlimited amount of additional Democrat voters. It is so sad to see Biden dismantling all of the gains made in the past four years. It is doubly sad that we have no idea what the truth is thanks to our dishonest and corrupt media.
So a friend asked the other day what I thought was going on with God. My response was who can know the mind of God? Certainly not me. If I was forced to guess I would say that God is judging the sins of this nation. There is precedent for it – All one has to do is read the Bible and see what has become of other nations that turned their backs on God – We have been busy – Aborting 62 million babies and now exporting abortion to other countries, producing 62% of pornography and now flooding other nations with it, sex trafficking of children, highest use of illegal drugs anywhere in the world and now in the process of being legalized in many states, persecuting God’s churches and followers of Christ, all of the foregoing are every bit as serious as the sins of nations that have been judged.
So we have a full scale plague going on, rising unemployment and businesses shuttering their doors, unattended schools, rage and violence in every major city, communists and tyrants demanding and getting their way, disobedient rebellious young people attacking police, gay marriage becoming mainstream, wildfires and weather calamities, and on and on and on.
What happened to the America we loved?
Social media, mainstream media, Hollywood, Nashville, K-12/colleges and universities, mega wealthy morally bankrupt business leaders, powerful corrupt politicians, all fed with cash from the leaders of financial institutions who really control America and the world is what destroyed it. I told my friend I didn’t know if the United States can ever come back, short of a miracle of God. And if He is judging us why would He bother?
So I don’t know if this is the end of the world or just the United States or a warning shot. I’m thinking that perhaps it is the end of America as we know it. Freedom is being erased, particularly freedom of speech. Even this tiny devotional is being manipulated by Google’s search engine algorithms moving search result from #1 to buried three screens back.
When God destroyed the world with a flood, Noah preached for some 120 years without a single convert – God destroyed them. In Sodom and Gomorrah Abraham could not find any righteous people and God destroyed them. Consider this while the United States is turning its back on the church, elsewhere in the world places such as Africa, China, India, and the Middle East are all experiencing revival with millions coming to Christ. Logically I always felt Jesus would not return until the last person who would have accepted Christ had done so. Oddly the west is falling while these other countries are gaining followers for Christ.
I studied Bible prophecy for many years and I find no mention of the United States towards the End of the world. Is that because it no longer will exist then. Gog/Magog (Russia,) a 200 million man army out of the east, (China,) Middle Eastern countries, (Syria Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and others are mentioned, but I cannot find anything about America. Could it be because it will not exist?
Of course this is my logic – As best as I can understand the complex writings of Daniel and Revelation and others including my years of Bible study, meditation and prayer I have developed my theory. And I am not alone, more than half of pastors (56%) expect Jesus to return in their lifetime. Perhaps due in part to those beliefs, 89% of evangelical and historically black church pastors say that communicating the urgency of Christ’s return is important.
But candidly it is not necessarily God’s plan and He made it vividly clear that no one but the Father knows exactly when the End will occur, but that we will see the “signs of the times” which He likened to the birth pangs a pregnant woman experiences when contractions begin. They start slow and then increase in intensity and pain.
I could be a million miles from being accurate. A day to Him is like a thousand years and He might patiently endure for a thousand or ten thousand years until He raises a super revivalist who will convince America of their need to repent.
As for me I don’t think we are that far away from the Rapture followed by the End. Either way I’m prepared for the Rapture and I’m prepared for the coming persecution and/or end. I do feel the sense of urgency in the air especially after this latest election. Thus I try to reach as many people for Christ as I can while there is yet time. I urge you to do likewise and pray for our nation.

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power.
