It seems that early voting is exceeding all expectations with a huge turnout. A friend told me this morning that those who love Trump and those who hate him are responsible. He is no doubt correct on his hypothesis.
Whatever your feelings are concerning President Trump it is all but impossible to ignore him. It is sad to me that the election is about him and not the policies and good things he has done for our nation.
Obama left things in a mess with a failing economy, weakened defense, lack of respect worldwide, a dependence on foreign oil, and so on. Trump’s policies did exactly as so many of us knew it would when the economy came roaring back under his leadership. He strengthened our defense and demonstrated that a red line means a red line and don’t cross it or else. He has fought for religious rights with fervor and now we lead the world in producing affordable energy. He lowered taxes and in general is cleaning up the Obama/Biden messes one at a time.
All we ever hear from the slanted media is negative. Two of the major networks didn’t even acknowledge much less cover the swearing in of Amy Coney Barret as Trump’s third appointment to the Supreme Court last night. Those who obtain their news solely from these propagandists don’t even know about it, the corruption of the Biden family, his diminishing mental ability, and other news because they repress it and try their utmost to protect him.
To me Trump exhibits extreme courage and perseverance. He and his family are attacked from every side, but he doesn’t seem to allow it to dishearten him or slow him down one iota. He gave up a wonderful life in order to help his country and has done so to the best of his abilities. I wish he wasn’t as brash, rude, arrogant, coarse, and petty sometimes, but it is not the personality but the accomplishments that I admire.
I was fishing with a friend the other day and one of the guys we fish with is an excellent fisherman. He finds and secures bait and catches fish with the best of them. He is also arrogant, rude, and abrasive much of the time. My friend told me that “everyone” has something bad going on about them and this dude was no different and he is right. I’m the first to say that I’m as far from perfect as the earth to the furthermost star and back a zillion times. None of us are perfect and we do well to remember that when talking about others.
As for me I overlook the negatives about President Trump. He hates the killing of unborn innocent babies, he tries his utmost to protect religious liberty, fight Washington D.C. corruption and their network of gloom and doom. I’ve said it before and will say it again and again that those who vote for Biden should not call themselves Christians and it is my opinion that if he is elected by them will share the shame and condemnation of his wanton slaughtering of innocent babies and I believe will answer to God for it.
At the end of the day it is not about a tweet or meanspirited comment, it is about weightier issues like what has he accomplished. As a Christian Trump is on the right side of most issues you care to name. Voting for him is voting for hope in a nation that has swung too far left and appears to be drifting toward communism with its first stage being socialism. Vote for the future of your kids and grandkids. Let them experience the freedom we have known and loved.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
