It seems the rule of law is fast disappearing in our nation. I read where a commentator said that it has reached a point where the expectation is that if a police officer is being shot at or facing a knife attack and the assailant is black that they should just stand there and be killed.
Breonna Taylor is the latest reason for antifa and BLM to riot. Her boyfriend pulled a gun and shot a police officer and when the cops returned fire she was accidentally hit by a stray bullet. In the moments following the announcement today in Louisville that only one of the officers involved in the shooting death of Breonna Taylor in March would face a relatively minor criminal charge, rioters and demonstrators began to take up their positions.
Antifa and BLM protestors could be seen unloading shields, riot gear and signs from the back of a U-Haul. Many were dressed all in black as they clamored around to get the gear.
“Shields, we got shields!” A voice yelled as people ran to the truck. The shields taken from the U-Haul were then used on the front lines of a protest march. This confirms that the street actions taking place in America are not as the media has portrayed, spontaneous acts of protest but in fact, well-funded and organized actions.
Last week it was a man charging and lunging at an officer with a large knife. Last night two officers were killed while trying to put out fires set by rioters. Lawlessness abounds and seems to be condoned by many in the press and democrat leadership. These folks fail to report that the overwhelming majority, when caught in criminal acts, resist arrest, and pull guns on arresting officers and the officers meet violence with violence which sets off another riot.
I haven’t seen any riots for the policemen who have been ambushed and murdered. So the silent majority stays silent.
Tragically there are some cases that are legitimate and racist sociopathic cops kill innocent people, but the way our laws should work in this country are that those individual police men and women should be punished by the courts by being sent to prison including death row if warranted. Instead the rioters want to burn down destroy an entire city.
Most all of this is being master minded by antifa and Black Lives Matter. BLM was founded by two people who were trained by the communist party. They espouse communist doctrine and use their tactics. They are funded by wealthy communist sympathizers such as George Soros and many titans in Silicon Valley and NYC.
The sad thing is that the majority of people in this country could care less about skin color and just want to be left alone. They want to work hard, spend time with their families, attend church, and be protected from criminals. This latest form of lawlessness has them unnerved.
I was lamenting why God doesn’t step in and put an end to it. Then I wondered if He is exposing the wannabe socialists and communists for what they are. Bullies and thugs who revel in doing evil. The Psalmist asked: “Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing?”
To adequately answer that one must look at those who perpetuate this evil. They seem to be antichrist in nature and appear as adversaries to Christ. This world belongs to Satan, unconverted men, of every rank, party, and character, are stirred up by him to oppose the cause of God. The truths and laws of Christianity are against worldly lusts and dark evil, but these people would eliminate conscience, and God’s commandments; they will not receive anything from God but trample upon His laws at every opportunity.
Ironically these enemies can show no good cause for opposing so just and holy a system, which, if received by all, would bring heaven upon earth.
The good news is that they can hope for no success in opposing so powerful a kingdom. The Lord Jesus has all power both in heaven and in earth, and is Head over all things to the church, notwithstanding the restless evil endeavors of his enemies. Christ’s throne is set up in his church, that is, in the hearts of all believers.
They rage but it is all in vain. They are just heaping burning embers and coals upon their heads. Though God might delay He does not forget and there will be a day of reckoning.
