Well the highly anticipated debate was held last night and what a disappointment. All they did was talk over each other and call each other names. There were no surprises and I don’t think anyone won and no one will be swayed by this performance.
Of course the media will probably tell folks that Biden won and not to believe what they saw and heard with their own eyes and ears, but that aside as bad as I wanted to see Trump take him down, I couldn’t even hear what was being said. It’s sad to see this kind of thing go on when electing someone to the highest office of the land.
So I voted absentee yesterday and I refused to mail my ballot from my residence which is currently located in Palm Beach County. It is known for its Progressive radical liberalism and I didn’t trust the mailman or post office to mail it. I drove all of the way to Stuart and mailed it from there and I’m hoping no one changed it or threw it away. I haven’t been this paranoid since I was taking drugs in the 60’s.
I wanted to vote in person but since I’m in the process of moving back to the keys
I went ahead and voted absentee. I voted for President Trump and pray daily he will win.
One takeaway from the debate that really amazed me was Biden trying to blame Trump for Covid. One would think that he was the god of plagues to hear the railing. I seem to recall him mobilizing the nation to combat it. I guess we aren’t supposed to remember that. It’s so illogical.
At any rate there are just over 30 days left to go until the vote and then probably months of haggling over the dirty tricks of ballot harvesting and so on. I’m glad I’ve voted, and I’m left with praying now which is preferable. As I see it Trump has done more for Christianity, working people including blacks, Hispanics, and women than any other President. Hopefully he will be reelected along with a majority of Republicans in the House and Senate.
I’m left now to pray which I do every day. If that sounds like a desperate attempt to keep sanity within our leadership, then you need to study your Bible. If we want God to heal our land and give us a good government and good leaders we must pray, ask for forgiveness, and repent. A good old fashioned revival would do wonders.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
