David Hoskins is a good friend of mine and he wrote the following: “Having lived in the former Soviet union for over 16 years I had the opportunity to extensively study communism. One of the first strategies of the Bolsheviks was to turn the population against law-enforcement. Do not believe for one second that this is not an orchestrated maneuver from either China or domestic left-leaning politicians to destroy this country and everything it stands for. The Trojan horse is inside the walls. Pray, love and vote.”
I listened to this Paul Harvey recording not long after reading David’s post and it sums up my view of the policeman:
Another friend wrote the following:
“The night is almost gone, and the day is near.” Our country and this world is groaning and struggling under the weight of our sins. But the daylight is coming. Soon our Savior will be calling us home. Then, after another season of darkness that will make these last days seem like a Sunday picnic, we will be back to retake this world for Him and His everlasting light. Get ready, get right, get saved!
If our country is to survive more people need to speak up. You might ask how you can speak up when you will get fired or otherwise persecuted for offering an opinion. We can repent and spread the Gospel and we can pray for our nation and against those who wish to destroy it and importantly we can vote. I’m doing all three. How about you?
