All over the world people are scrambling to find a cure for the virus and other calamities and yet it seems unstoppable. Lives have been thrown into utter chaos and the natives are getting restless. Renowned scientists, researchers, experts and doctors are leaving no stone unturned, but coming up empty. It reminds me of all of Pharaohs and Jezebels advisors trying to do the things done by God’s Holy men. On top of the virus locusts are eating up Africa and moving into the Middle East, many areas of the world are experiencing drought, and other calamities such as the massive earthquake in Utah this week. The world has never learned the secret weapon that is available to one and all. It can be found in 2 Chronicles 7:13:
Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on my people, if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again. I will watch over this Temple and be ready to hear all the prayers that are offered here,
Many in the church are doing that, but not all. Some in the church understand that God can stop the virus dead in its tracks, but in order to do so they must repent and pray, and they are too preoccupied or love their sins too much to do so. I hope some of those who are carrying on their wicked ways and haven’t given a thought to offering a prayer and asking for forgiveness will get this message and awaken from their coma. Case in point are the young people in Florida partying away for spring break. I live in Jupiter and they are on the beaches and on the water where boatloads of them are riding the river in boats or walking around half naked, (if not entirely naked) with boom-boxes blaring in a drunken stupor.
It was interesting but perhaps not unexpected that the Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi tried to sneak money into the Coronavirus relief bill for abortion king Planned Parenthood. It makes me sick to my stomach to know that my tax dollars contribute to that evil baby-murdering business. It is black sin. Las Vegas is coping by developing drive-thru peep shows and gambling casinos are asking for a federal bailout. Some liberals are actually releasing criminals from jail and refusing to arrest those who commit burglary and larceny. It is insane to do that and it’s no wonder that people are buying guns in record amounts to protect their families and property. The wiles and stupidity of so many in the world is amazing.
Repent and pray that is the secret cure that has been discovered. It is hidden in an Old Testament passage where I’m sure the vast majority of the world will never find it. I ask you to pray daily as my wife and I are doing and so many others around the world. Lord please forgive us for the sins committed against You. We ask that the Holy Spirt will move throughout the world to convince people to turn from their wicked wicked ways and turn to You God. We pray for a mighty worldwide revival and that billions of people will pray to You and repent, so that Your anger will subside, and You will make our land prosperous again. Lord we know You are watching, and listening and we ask that You will be pleased by what You see and hear and tell us those coveted words, “Well Done.”
