Meet Fay Slift and Fluffy Souffle. The two tout themselves as drag performers who combine their performance art with their experience as child educators. What it boils down to is that they read sexually themed stories to children in the library in Toronto, Canada. A hallmark of their reading is to ridicule women and heterosexuality. Now along comes a feminist, Meghan Murphy, who wants to get into the act by touting feminism of biological women. The library is now facing bitter opposition from pro-transgender groups including these two birds for not canceling a planned speech by her.
So, if these guys want to dress up like women and prance around pretending to be hairy versions of women I don’t really care. Where I draw the line is allowing them a platform to indoctrinate children. What kind of parent would allow their children to go to such an event? Is this the direction our world is taking? What will it be like in another 30 years? Check out this video:
A couple of youngsters were helping me with my move the other day and they asked how many kids I have. “Three sons and seven grandkids is my tally,” I proudly told him. Out of the blue he responded by saying that he and his wife were seriously considering not having children. He felt that the world was changing for the worst and he wasn’t sure he wanted to bring a child into a world like this.
I told him that the Bible states in Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. Raising a child up and teaching them about God’s love for us and how we should act is essential and will protect them from the increasing evil. Even if a child goes wild for a while, they always seem to return to their roots. I wonder how the two hairy women wannabes were raised and for that matter the parents who bring their children to hear them speak at the library about their perverted views of sex. All I know to do is pray for them and the children and I have done just that this morning.
I’ve been studying Revelation for several weeks and it is frightening to read of the fearsome judgements that are coming. The things endured by Pharaoh and Egypt are mere child’s play compared to the wrath that God will unleash in the END times against those who refuse to drink from the cup of salvation of Jesus. Though the world is getting more wicked, there are those who refuse to be swayed by it and remain steadfast in their faith and now more than ever we need to talk to people about Jesus.
Especially protect your children and grandchildren my friends. We have an enemy who wants to destroy us, and he has unprecedented power. But rest assured that: You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
