Well I’m heading by boat solo from the Florida Keys to Stuart, Florida  – Quite a long haul especially when you consider I’m alone and I have one engine that has gone out. My boat will run fairly well on three, but if I had my preference I would make the long trip with all four engines purring. Oh well high adventure on the high seas should be fun.

I’m really looking forward to being alone with God for 6 or more hours. I always enjoy being out on the deep blue sea and feeling His presence. I intend to pray and rejoice at all of the blessings He has bestowed upon me. It is such a shame that so few actually spend time alone with God in a remote beautiful place.

Personally, I know that I know that He loves certain places more than others. He did look upon all He created and say, “It is good,” but some places I’ve visited just look like He put a little extra effort into, and I bet He might have said, Now, that is REALLY Good! Spectacular really!

And I love to visit Him in places like that. By the time you read this, I will have watched the sun come up and dance on the cobalt blue waters sending shimmering diamonds across the waves. No doubt I’ll have seen some porpoise and sea birds and perhaps even stopped and caught a fish or two, or three, or four . . .

We serve a majestic God, just look at the mountains, deserts, oceans, flowered meadows, blue sky, outer space, a new born baby, and all the heavens. And now comes some atheist trying to tell me there is no God???? Ugh, I’ll pray that the scales fall off their eyes. Enjoy your day today. God reigns on His throne and there is nothing to worry about. He has you in the palm of His beautiful nail scarred hands . . .

Romans 1:20

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
