So, all the Trump haters, including some who read this column and continually harass me, have to be singing the blues today. The lies have been overwhelmed by the truth. Two years of solid propaganda by biased media, and a team of dedicated Hillary supporter prosecutors, and an all-out effort to twist the truth by the deep state could not contain the truth. The Mueller investigation has ended, and Trump has been exonerated.

News flash: Donald Trump won the election fair and square! Get over it!

According to the Bible, the truth, will set us free. John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” But then there are those who are so blinded by hate that they really don’t want to know the truth because they hate.

Celebrities, media, and of course, “bug eyes” – Adam Schiff, and other politicians are crying in their beer, but don’t get comfortable because their style of cutthroat dirty politics will continue for as long as they can breathe. They don’t want the truth; they want Trump to be impeached and sent to jail, innocent or not, because they hate him.

Fortunately, most people, I believe, still want the truth. To be honest I doubted that Mueller would be so bold as to report the facts. He was friends with Comey, and many Trump haters, and too Trump excoriated him publicly, but to his credit he reported the truth. I believe that is one thing that makes his findings more credible. He came to this conclusion in spite of his personal feelings.

It reminds me of the time I first read the Bible. I disliked Christians immensely and I thought the Bible and faith in God were a crutch for weak minded people who were afraid to die. Of course, I had never read the Bible, but I knew the common atheistic/agnostic arguments of a few verses that when taken out of context sounded ridiculous. It is when I read it for myself, first the New Testament, and then the Old Testament followed by reading the New Testament again that I learned its truth and accepted it and indeed the truth became known to me and it did set me free.

The nation will continue to be divided, but the choice is clear. We can accept the truth and find rest or keep pursuing the lies and never find rest.

Similarly, we can accept the truth of the Bible and find rest or pursue the lies of Satan and find restlessness and chaos. The choice is ours.

Galatians 5:1

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be encumbered once more by a yoke of slavery.
