So, this Saturday a very special event will transpire in Orlando Florida. It is named “The Send,” and is a collaboration of ministries hosting a huge stadium gathering. Their website says its purpose is “to catalyze every believer into a lifestyle of Christlike action.” This is one of the primary purposes of The Jesus Alliance and is right up my alley.
They are believing that 60,000 people will be in attendance. I know I will be there for an enjoyable day that is a combination of worship, prayer, speaking and key activation. The lineup of speakers and entertainers for this event is astounding; check it out here:
Lou Engle is one of the primary organizers and many remember him for his events entitled “The Call.” Which as its name implies called people to evangelism, prayer, and discipleship. Well now “The Call” has ended and “The Send” has arrived and hopefully this event will be the catalyst that sends many out to a world in desperate need of our Savior and His Word of life.
I highly encourage you to attend this event. Streaming is available for those who cannot physically attend. You will be blessed. This country needs a revival in the worst way, and I cannot help but believe that when many thousands of us come together to lift our voices to heaven that God will send His Holy Spirit upon us for a special anointing to lead others to Christ.
