I’ve tried to understand the hatred that the Democrats exude towards President Trump, but for the life of me I cannot even think like that. Case in point, just look at the left’s deranged venomous hatred towards Sherrie Hopper, a mother who lives in Memphis and whose son was stricken by cancer. She was attacked for the terrible sin of thanking the president’s son, Eric, for helping raise $16.3 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her son was cured of cancer at the facility and she was very thankful. Check out her comments as to how she was treated for thanking Trump’s son:

Sherrie valiantly fought the hatred on Twitter by saying: “This whole thing that is going on with this . . . the [vitriol], the anger . . . the nastiness, just the hate that is surrounding the president and his family and just anybody who is affiliated with him at all is just . . . it’s just awful.

Now you’re gonna attack a charity? You’re gonna attack a St. Jude family, someone who went through hell for four years” she continued.

“Come on now. So I’m seeing where they just have no boundaries. They don’t care. They have no conscience [whatsoever].”

“I don’t understand how we have become so hateful in our society. I don’t get it and all I did was say thank you,” she added.

I guess she did not get the memo that you’re not allowed to do that! How DARE you be grateful! This poor woman who nearly lost her child to cancer is still getting hammered by the haters which prompted her to ask: “Why can’t people just be kind to one another?”

As I said at the outset I don’t get it. It would be an understatement to say I disliked Obama and his administration. I am as against some of the things he did as anyone could be. I cringed when I saw the White House lit up with the gay flag, I wanted to vomit over the Iran deal, Obamacare, Eric Holder, the racial division he stirred up, and so many other things, but I didn’t get a gang together and go beat up and harass his followers and hurl F bombs at them.

The leftist scumbag cowards in our midst today gang up to harass women at the movies and grocery stores, they curse duly elected officials at restaurants, march around people’s homes at night with megaphones, destroy lives with lies spread by a complicit media, they even throw a drink in the face of a teenage kid wearing a Make America Great again hat and then steal it.

Now we have a Supreme Court nominee. He is a decent honorable brilliant man with a wonderful family. He is someone who loves our constitution and our country and volunteers at a homeless shelter and as a tutor for poor kids. The vicious left has already launched its very efficient career destroying character assassination machine and was already attacking him before he was even nominated. News anchor Shannon Bream couldn’t even report on it. She had to leave the steps of the Supreme Court to the safety of her television studio because for the first time in her reporting career she felt threatened by the protestors.

I don’t know how any decent person could vote for a party that endorses such antics. If you are a Democrat I don’t hate you, but I sure as heck don’t understand you. And while I may not understand you, I do know why you hate like you do. I watched as you booed God at the Democratic convention and voted to exclude the mention of His name from your platform.

Sherrie hopper asked, “Why can’t people just be kind to one another?” I’ll tell you why, because most of these angry hate-filled people in this party are far from God and the love of God is not in them.

I hope you are registered to vote. Here in Florida we can vote out Senator Nelson and vote in Governor Scott. It will mean one more vote for sanity and decency. If Democrats continue to move towards their love of a godless society, and socialist and communist ideology, hopefully they will get lambasted at the polls and will swing back towards the center and civility. It will perhaps be a warning they finally understand . . .

Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother
