I sometimes think I’m a psycho-magnet. It seems that weird people are attracted to me like iron to a magnet. These liberal crybabies write and argue about most everything. It will be 20 years in June since I first began writing Words for the Day and during that time literally thousands of psychos have been attracted to me. Most often they just angrily disagree with whatever I’ve said on a particular day; sometimes they curse and blow for a while and a few even threaten. None have ever come for an in-person visit, even though I invited more than one of them to do so. It’s humorous to me, and they don’t intimidate me in the least. I’m an expert with firearms and would not hesitate to use one to protect myself, family, or fellow citizens.
I keep guns on my person, in my cars, and in my home. Having a gun handy and knowing how to proficiently use it is a prudent thing to do. I read of a couple this morning who were walking to their car in the parking lot of a Walmart shopping center when three thugs tried to carjack and rob them. Bad decision, all three were shot by the citizens who were carrying concealed weapons for their protection.
So, most people think that the second amendment guarantees the right to keep and bear arms for hunting, target shooting and personal protection. While those are worthy reasons for our protections that is just another lie perpetuated by those who want to take guns away from the populace. The second amendment is primarily designed to protect us from the government. “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” One of the original framers of the constitution James Madison wrote how a federal army could be kept in check by state militias, “a standing army . . . would be opposed [by] a militia.” He argued that state militias “would be able to repel the danger” of a federal army . . . ”
Many will scoff at this notion and blow it off as NRA talking points. What’s new? The truth seldom means anything to those who want to take over this country. They base their entire lives on lies. Think it cannot happen here? What makes us so special? It happened in Germany with Hitler; Russia with Stalin; China with Mao; and many other countries. It hasn’t happened here because armed citizens would not allow it without a bloody fight.
Consider the enormity of the threat that has just been exposed in this country. The number one and number two leaders of our nation’s top tier law enforcement agency the director and assistant director of the F.B.I. and the lead investigators of the Clinton investigation actively worked to prevent Trump from being elected, and after he won it, worked to undo it. The director and his assistant were both fired for it and yet a complicit press, a virtual lying machine used to pump propaganda to achieve its leftist goals, tried to absolve them of any blame and encouraged people to buy James Comey’s book.
Ugh! So much of the country has been brain washed it is pathetic, but the slim majority have not, and thank God most are tuning out and not even watching
the news.
The problem with leftist liberal Godless elites is that they think we are too dumb to vote or have a say at the ballot box. They want to force their globalist agenda on the entire world that is run by them. They think that they are the chosen ones who will paternally make decisions for us because of their superior intellects and the masses are incapable of knowing what is best for them. There is one problem with them. They forget about red blooded, freedom loving, gritty and courageous Americans who will not merely acquiesce, but instead, fight them tooth and nail until the last dog dies.
Tyrannical governments are nothing new and date back to the dawn of time. Entire nations have been enslaved by those who crave power and not just African nations, nearly every civilization on the face of the earth has been enslaved at one time or another. In this country we can vote, and we can defend ourselves thanks to the second amendment. So far, we have managed to remain free for over 300 years; let’s hope that we can continue for another 300.
