It’s Monday morning and raining at my home. The forecast is for rain all week which suits me just fine. I’m wrapping up my move and soon it will be a distant memory. If it wasn’t raining I would be thinking of going fishing instead of moving, so let it rain.
It’s none too soon to be through with this nightmare move because I head to Washington D. C. on Thursday for meetings through Sunday with the Council for National Policy, CNP. This is a meeting with the leading conservatives in the nation.
I never thought I would look forward to traveling to D.C. but after this move I’m delighted to get away from the house. One of the topics that will be discussed is how the progressive left has been able to take over or make serious inroads towards total domination of various areas of our culture such as media, arts and entertainment, education, big business, the government bureaucracy, family, and even the church. Our goal is to determine how best to counteract it and undo the harm already done.
One project that our ministry, The Jesus Alliance, has a keen interest is breaking the stranglehold that the left has over social media and the mainstream media. All the big television networks, Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, major newspapers, major corporations such as Starbucks are pushing left wing propaganda and censoring conservatives, and especially Christians. We want to develop platforms where we can get the truth out.
It is no small task but there are plenty of organizations like ours who are putting technologists to work towards that end and the key is to try and get them to work together to build a Christian platform. It must be dynamic, interesting, and serve as an outlet for getting the truth out in the news including good news the truth about abortion, gay issues, immigration, Trump, Antifa, religious freedom, Gun control, and other issues that are currently being censored.
Our children are being fed propaganda by a Godless-American hating group fueled by billions of dollars from George Soros, Silicon Valley billionaires, Progressive Insurance Chairman Peter Lewis, and other assorted Socialists. Through their powerful propaganda machine, they push atheism, open borders, free sex with anybody and anything, legalized drugs, and other warped causes and kids are listening.
So, it’s about time someone did something to overcome the world – Right?
Right!
I can tell you that serious efforts are underway – Finally!
The blessings that the Lord has promised to those who overcome the world are spectacular. “They will be “clothed in white … and [named in] the book of life.” The Lord “will confess [their names] before [the] Father, and before his angels.” Each shall have “part in the first resurrection,” receive eternal life, and go no more from the presence of God.
Can you overcome the world and receive these blessings? Yes, you can.
How?
Develop an all-encompassing love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And with our sincere repentance, He alone is capable to cleanse us from our sins, allowing us to return to the presence of God. “We love him, because he first loved us.”
Jesus said, “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Later He added, “I will that you should overcome the world.”
So be of good cheer Christ overcame the world and we His followers are shadowing His hallowed footsteps and His will is that we do it!.
John 16:33
“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
