So, a reader wrote me last night concerning Trump’s tough strategy for North Korea. It appears that for the first time an American President is going to meet with the leader of North Korea. Obviously, Trump’s tough policy of sanctions and promises to destroy that country if they keep threatening the United States with nukes has worked in getting them to at least talk about nuclear disarmament.

Now what?

I suspect Trump, who is nobody’s fool, will proceed with caution. Promises have been made and broken by the North Koreans before, and this will not be easy. He has stated that the pressure will remain until they actually begin disarming. I suppose that time will tell, but I am greatly encouraged by it all.

I’m happy about nuclear disarmament, but I’m elated about the potential that millions of North Koreans might finally get the chance to attend worship services. South Korea is one of the most evangelized and discipled countries on the planet; just imagine the number of souls that would be saved if the two countries unified in similar fashion as occurred between East and West Germany under Ronald Reagan.

As Christians we should unite in prayer asking God for revival of those persecuted in North Korea and of course for nuclear disarmament.

Last night for nearly two hours I addressed The Lord’s Roundtable, a large coast to coast group of Christian truck drivers. The event was carried by several radio stations and a large conference call. It was also recorded for podcast listening for those who couldn’t make it. My message was HOPE.

I told them that so many people in life have lost hope and there is no reason for it. The Bible states unequivocally that “Nothing is impossible for God.” My life is but one example. Everyone had given up on me and written me off, and yet God was watching and said, “Watch this,” and he totally transformed my life.

He can do the same for North Korea, Iran, the Middle East and so on. Prayer is one key to moving God to action. He hears our prayers and He answers them. Pray for the people of North Korea and pray for the murderous Kim Jung Un to come to know Jesus. And then believe that it will happen . . . Look at what happened in the life of the Apostle Paul . . .

When you seek God’s presence and request Him to intervene in your situation, you can see miracles happen! God has power over all creation and has the ability to work a miracle for you and for entire nations. Believe it and maintain hope.

Jer. 32:27

“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”

Have a great weekend and go to church this Sunday. BTW I will be speaking at Honey Lake Church on March 19th. Please put it on your calendar and bring one or more of your unsaved friends to join us.
