There is much in the news about Antifa (pronounced An-tee-fa). What the heck is it.
By now you have seen and news clips of black clad thugs wearing masks and brandishing weapons used to beat anyone who disagrees with them. It is mostly a collection of communists, (yes, we still have communists in this country), anarchists, (a person who rebels against any authority, established order, or ruling power), and extreme left-wing socialists. They are militant leftists, or occasionally far leftists and radical leftists who commit to acts of violence against those on the Right side of the political spectrum regardless of whether they are 80 years old, a woman, or whatever.
If you are not one of them you will be beaten up.
What is their goal? Though they claim they are antifascists, they themselves exhibit all of the traits of fascists which is in part to destroy freedom of speech in America. They are terrorist thugs who operate in gangs beating men and women at any gathering they dislike.
Most Democrat politicians, RINOS and powerful people in the left-wing media refuse to condemn their violent tactics, but Nancy Pelosi shocked the nation by coming out with a strong condemnation and denunciation of them this week after they attacked peaceful free speech participants in a rally at Berkeley.
So why is this important to you?
Because our country is moving toward censorship of thoughts that oppose the politically correct slant. So, if the Bible is not deemed as being politically correct, which it definitely is not, then perhaps it will be banned. Maybe the doors will burst open during your next church service and thugs dressed in black will charge in and begin hitting people with hammers and baseball bats.
Why is all speech including hate speech protected by the First Amendment?
Hmmm . . . Who determines what speech should be considered hate speech? Many on the left think if your religious views label homosexuality as wrong and marriage being ordained by God as a union between one woman and one man is hate speech. The same with opposition to abortion. There are those who think Muslims and their beliefs are barbaric. It continues but you get the picture so I will not belabor it. The question is who gets to determine what is hate speech and what is not?
Free speech is essential to a free country and democracy. That’s why we need to urge our legislators to grow some “courage” and speak out against Antifa criminals and neo Nazis alike. Otherwise we will be facing a one world government controlled by some dictator, ergo an anti-Christ, who will dictate how we worship, what we believe, or what we can say. Just take a look at Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, China, or Iran and ask yourself how you’d like to be a Christian in one of those countries.
Can it happen here? Yes, it can, and eventually it will according to the Bible. The world will be ruled by a one world government and all those globalists and open border advocates will in the end be triumphant.
Personally, I want to hold it off as long as possible. Join me in writing letters to leaders in government, law enforcement, prosecutors, judicial and all forms of media and demand that these terrorist thugs be put behind bars today.
Remember your kids and grandkids. We’ve already left this world in a big enough mess for them already with debt, wars, sinking morality, and so on; don’t let their freedom of speech and religious liberty be denied to them too . . .
Although this may sound disheartening just remember that though we may lose some battles, the LORD will lead us to victory once and for all. Never be afraid.
