Human trafficking generates $150 billion each year. It has surpassed illegal arms sales and is soon to overtake illegal drug trafficking as the number one criminal enterprise in the world.
Wow! I’m sure governments are putting together a major force to curb this terrible blight on humanity.
NOT!
Only a paltry $350 million is spent worldwide annually on prevention, protection, rescue and restoration of victims. To offer some perspective, every 21 days the US population spends $350 million on potato chip consumption.
So, child rape, kidnapping children for their organs, and using children for the purpose of serving as modern day slaves to work in fields and factories continues practically unabated as we crunch, crunch, crunch away on our snacks.
Madness!
It is interesting to see how some react to slavery. I’ve been reading that the New Orleans mayor has ordered that all the confederate monuments in the city be removed, because they are offensive to some. Wow, that should make all those people who are so upset feel better.
Hmmm . . . Surely, the mayor knows that there are more slaves on earth today than any other time in the world’s history. Slavery was supposedly abolished in 1865 with the 13th amendment. It is even more evil today than it was 152 years ago because young children are being repeatedly raped because of it. Doesn’t he know that 80% of sex slaves are minorities, mainly blacks and Hispanics? Why doesn’t the mayor rally the city and spend an equal amount of money as tearing down statues to put an end to it?
It there too much mob money influencing it to put a stop to it? Duhhh . . . You think?
But what about the slaves that exist in that city today? New Orleans has more than its share of child sex slaves. The city is full of enslaved prostitutes. In fact, the good mayor surely must be aware that truckloads of children prostitutes were bused in to service the construction workers who rebuilt the city after Katrina, and of course he knows that there are plenty more working Bourbon Street, the hotels, bars, and casinos of that wicked city right now.
Slaves, (many of them Jews), built the Egyptian pyramids. Tear ‘em down! The Roman Coliseums and Roman roads were built by slaves, (many of them Christian) – Tear ‘em down!
ISIS tore ‘em down. They utterly destroyed the places of worship and religious monuments and artifacts in museums that have stood for thousands of years because they were offensive to them. Let’s all follow suite. That makes great sense – Eh?
Ah but that might not garner any black votes for the next election that is always just around the corner. Sadly many of our country’s leaders are more interested in political correctness and politics than they are in actually doing something about the problems of the world, thus they spend it fomenting racial divisiveness .
How about you? Are you caught up in potato chip madness? Or are you determined to do something about fighting this problem. It is ridiculous for me to spend so much money, time, and effort trying to strengthen child sex trafficking laws that mandate judges and prosecutors put predators in jail and throw away the key. Laws are on the books now – They won’t do their jobs and enforce them.
We need a public outcry demanding that politicians take immediate action to provide the funding to stop it and laws are enforced. We cannot stop, or begin to even slow down, the evil in this world unless ordinary people demand it. That’s what was needed when Wilberforce took it on and that is what is needed today.
Get involved today! Pray! Give money! Attend rallies! Write your representatives!
Child rape is the worst evil Satan has perpetuated on mankind. It is time to put on the full armor of God and go to battle.
