In Sunday School yesterday our Bible study teacher read in Acts 20:29: . . . Be shepherds of the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood. I know that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number, men will rise up and distort the truth to draw away disciples after them . . .
This verse reminds me so much of those who constantly snipe away at Donald Trump and his administration at every opportunity. Every smidgen of mainstream media; the establishment Republicans, every Democrat who can stand before a microphone, the Hollywood elites, assorted famous athletes, academia, millennials, social media, socialists, communists, Obama appointed judges & bureaucrats still in power, and every malcontent on the continent all attack like Savage Wolves.
Most of the organized groups like Moveon.org, Media Matters, Black Lives Matter, and the like are supported by the Open Society founded and financed by billionaire George Soros, who has been labeled “the most evil man on the planet” for his fierce anti-faith movement. They don’t lack in money; they have a war chest that exceeds $13 billion. They finance organized protests, bus in violent thugs to beat up Trump supporters and destroy property, pay for signs, and so on.
So, will they succeed? It’s hard to tell. Polls say Trump is rapidly losing ground, but polls said he wouldn’t win the presidency and are conducted largely by those same Trump haters previously listed.
I warned when Trump was elected that a singular battle had been won, but the war would rage on. Pretty prophetic, huh? I believe he will withstand the storm. My reasoning is that God miraculously put him in office as a way of answering prayers for a new beginning in this country in moving away from a godless society.
2 Chronicles 7:14 states, “Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.”
Millions of us called on the Lord and humbled ourselves and prayed and sought the face of God and He answered our prayer when Hillary was defeated. The second half of God’s promise requires that we turn from our wicked ways. Only then will God hear from heaven and forgive our sins and restore our land.”
The savage wolves attacking our land can be defeated if we follow God and not the world. Don’t be complacent. How can you help? Join together with other Christians. United we can move mountains – Alone we are vulnerable. Paul said there will be those who distort the truth and draw away from the flock. Wolves attack those on the periphery – the outlanders first. We don’t have $13 billion but we are using every last penny of our meager resources fighting the good fight and will continue as long as we are able.
