I like to look at several news websites each day in an attempt to get news that is unbiased and true.
Ugh! Good luck with that!
After reading the biggest load of hogwash one could imagine I took the time to write to CNN today to tell them I was through with them forever. It insults my intelligence to read their biased daily activist diatribe of hate and smear.
A great friend of mine who used to run the Washington Times was given a healthy budget to develop a news website for another company that would get the truth out. So far it has been hugely successful and over 750,000,000 people have visited the site in just 18 weeks. I urge you to visit it at Circa.com. He is keenly interested in reaching millennials and so far, has had good success with reaching them.
He happens to be a strong believer and has been guiding us with the Jesus Alliance website and although we don’t have the budget to rival his performance, we are making progress slowly but surely in spreading the good news of Jesus wherever we can.
We too have our eyes on millennials and a special effort is underway for that segment of our society.
Why?
Because they are the future and currently they are being targeted by some very powerful wealthy and evil characters. For the life of me I cannot understand why so many celebrities, trust fund babies, wealthy business owners, CEO’s and tycoons, hate this country. They have benefitted enormously from our nation and its freedoms and owe their success to it, and yet, they seem to despise it. Strangely even many in the Jewish elite are in this club, this despite the fact the radical left agenda is to give Israel to the Palestinians. It’s a paradox of gigantic proportions.
The Bible tells us “our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against authorities, against the universal lords of this darkness, against spiritual power of wickedness in the heavenlies.” This tells us that those engaged in warfare against God and his church are under the sway of demonic oppression. Their goal becomes to destroy righteousness and the warfare that is waged is not with guns, knives, or artillery on a battlefield; it is almost universally waged in our minds.
So, if you were Satan wouldn’t you try to own the media and arts and entertainment? How about schools? Churches? Government? The marketplace? The family? That is exactly the plan that has been laid out by the radical left and it is funded with billions not millions.
That is why our news is distorted, pornography is rampant, schools teach evolution, churches are moving away from teaching biblical values, government has become corrupt, and the traditional marriage between a man and woman is mocked.
Martin Luther King, Jr. said:
He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.
I for one am not going to lie down and capitulate. The Jesus Alliance was formed to unify believers because together we can win this battle. Currently we are underfunded, understaffed, battered and bruised, and if a snapshot were taken we would undoubtedly be declared as being vanquished; (the casual observer might be a little more brutal and say if it was a fight they would stop it). But we have just begun to fight and are determined to defeat the scourge upon our land with reckless abandon.
We had to start somewhere, it has begun, and daily we are making progress. We intend to enter every last arena where they have claimed ownership and those where they have established footholds and will battle to get the truth and light of Jesus to a nation and world that is sorely in need of Him.
