As many of you know I receive my fair share of criticism, hate mail, and yes even occasional threats for writing Words for the Day. Recently I received a letter concerning naming Black Lives matter as a movement that is one of the indicators of a country that is spiraling towards the abyss.
I corrected the spelling errors but otherwise the letter I received below is what was sent to me:
Are you a racist? I am a Christian and I agree with several of your view points today, but what was the point of tying your concerns to Black Lives Matter and African Americans? True Christians do not need to use race to underscore God’s truth and way. We all have the same color blood and God’s breath running through our veins. I pray God shows you that His will is His will. His heart is His heart. His word is His word and race has nothing to do with it. Peace to you. You have an opportunity to reach all people.
Ugh! Here we go again. I didn’t say anything about African Americans in that post; however, I did speak out against Black Lives Matter.
It is ridiculous for someone to be labeled a racist for speaking out against a left wing, George Soros funded, anarchist movement comprised of paid thugs whose job is to riot, loot, and protest under the guise of protesting racial injustice. I suppose using this logic if I spoke out against the Aryan Brotherhood or the KKK as being white supremacy groups I would be called a racist for saying bad things about Caucasians. Or maybe if I spoke out against radical jihadist extremists attacking innocent people I would by labeled a xenophobe, or if I dared to speak out against Hispanics, many of whom are in this country illegally, burning down Los Angeles to protest a lawful election “I” would be labeled as a hater and bigot extraordinaire.
Stupid!
As a matter of record Jesus spoke out against lies and conduct identical to what is expressed by these groups. He did so often, including when He walked this earth, and throughout His Holy Bible. Does anyone with any intelligence believe that Jesus would condone someone hating police and screaming “Kill cops now”, or going through the streets setting fires, breaking windows, looting destroying private property and beating people up?
My contention is that ALL lives matter regardless of skin color. Most people should remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who peacefully demonstrated and made his point in such a manner as to secure a bright future for people of color forever and whose efforts resulted in this country electing an African American to become President of the United States.
So many Christians have been brainwashed to believe that we shouldn’t dare say anything about someone’s behavior because of whatever race they happen to be. That is such a load of bull. I’m not speaking out against any individual, but I will freely speak out against the lies and evil behavior of those who wish to destroy this great nation. I am praying for a new era to begin in America that is free from the absurdity of political correctness and that somehow “Christians” are not to speak out against evil. I pray that each of you will have the courage to repudiate those snivelers who are afraid to speak the truth about anything.
We can hate the sin but love the sinner and that my friends is what being like Jesus is all about.
Romans 5:8
But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
