So now we have NFL San Francisco 49er quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, who makes nineteen million dollars a year, refusing to stand for our National Anthem. He has said this country doesn’t deserve his respect.
What a low-light ingrate. He is enjoying the American dream, while simultaneously disrespecting those military heroes who fought, died, and were horribly wounded, defending him.
Not only does he disrespect veterans, but he has been spewing racial hatred and slamming all police as murderers at every opportunity. He curses those brave policemen who make it safe enough for him to enjoy his millions without thugs stealing it and shooting him in the face.
I wonder if his white adoptive parents are objects of his hatred too, (he is biracial).
Ugh! I’m so sick of it I could vomit.
Check out this story in the Chicago Tribune:
“In the weeks since he was shot in the back, 10-year-old Tavon Tanner has undergone several operations to repair the damage from the bullet that tore through his small body and remains lodged between his shoulder and his chest.
The fifth-grader is still in the hospital and still in pain, according to his mother Mellanie Washington. He doesn’t talk as much and cries more often. Sometimes he’ll ask if police have arrested the person who shot him.
“I tell him they will soon,” Washington said. “They will.” No one was in custody as of Monday.
Tavon was among more than 400 people shot in Chicago this month. There have been at least 78 homicides, marking August as the most violent month in the city in almost 20 years, according to data provided by the Chicago Police Department. And there are two more days to go.”
Or maybe this article in the Baltimore Sun:
“Baltimore officially has had 200 homicide victims in 2016 after an autopsy confirmed a 42-year-old man found dead Friday just west of downtown had been fatally stabbed.
The victim, identified Monday as Franswhaun Smith, was found Friday about 7:50 a.m. in the 700 block of Murphy Lane, in the Heritage Crossing neighborhood that was formerly the site of the Murphy Homes public housing development.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said an autopsy confirmed he had been stabbed in the back.
It is the fifth consecutive year Baltimore’s homicide tally has reached 200 after recording 197 in all of 2011. That was the first time the city had recorded fewer than 200 victims since the late 1970s.”
I wonder what that NFL super-jerk thinks about that? Maybe he should protest blacks killing blacks in record numbers.
I worked out at L.A. Fitness the other day and spoke to several veterans with missing limbs. One told me he lost his legs in Iraq thanks to an RPG. He said recovery had been difficult and actually he was just now trying to get his life together. The same was true when I spoke at the Wounded Warriors Retreat in Panama City. So many of these brave youngsters had lost hope and were suicidal.
It just seems that a pattern is being established. At the Olympics, gymnast Gabby Douglas refused to put her hand over heart during the playing of our National Anthem. NBA multi-millionaires are likewise slamming police and our country at every opportunity.
And of course some of our Hollywood super-jerks are never far behind. Check out this story in The Daily Caller:
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani expressed displeasure with Beyonce’s VMA performance in an interview Monday, adding he’s “saved more black lives” than anyone at the awards show.
Giuliani, appearing on Fox and Friends, called Beyonce’s performance a “shame” because it symbolized black people getting shot by police officers, reports Politico.
“You’re asking the wrong person because I had five uncles who were police officers, two cousins who were, one who died in the line of duty. I ran the largest and best police department in the world, the New York City Police Department. And I saved more black lives than any of those people you saw on stage by reducing crime and particularly homicide by 75 percent,” Giuliani said.
Beyonce appeared on the red carpet before her performance, flanked by the mothers of Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Oscar Grant and Trayvon Martin. Called the Mothers of the Movement, the group previously voiced its support for presidential nominee Hillary Clinton at the Democratic National Convention.”
I wonder why they don’t just leave this country if they hate it so much. I have traveled extensively and haven’t found any other country that would compare to this one.
I often ask readers to pray for this country and once again I beseech you to do so today. Our citizens are so divided. Lord help us to understand what a great country You have allowed us to live in. Yes evil lives among us and seems to be getting worse, but help us to be grateful for what we have. No other continent enjoys what we have in this country beginning with Africa, and moving throughout the world. You have blessed us as no other country; please don’t remove that blessing.
Lord open the eyes of those professional athletes, celebrities and so many others in this country who hate it so much and are so ungrateful for all that You have given them. Allow them to know that everything they have would not be possible if You had not blessed them with it and put in place brave men and women to protect them and allow them to live in this free country. Use them to glorify You instead of curse everything You have given them including using their vaunted positions to influence those who will listen to them. Let them know just how small they are in Your Glorious Universe.
1 Cor. 4:7
For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?
