Have you ever shared your faith with anyone? If the answer is no, perhaps it is because you don’t feel qualified to do so. A couple of friends of mine recently designed an easy way to share one’s faith and created a video to train others how to use it. It can be viewed at

I encourage you to watch this video, and more importantly use it to lead someone to Christ. I have personally used this little brochure to share with inmates in tough prisons and have found that it is very effective. If it will work on the roughest and toughest among us, then surely it will work on anyone.
I keep some of these brochures in my vehicle and computer bag and use them whenever the opportunity arises. And if I cannot find an opportunity, I often will create one.
In the video Jack Murphy mentions a good way to break the ice by first engaging in conversation about something else like the condition of the world and the sense of lost hope. Most are discouraged with the many dangerous issues facing the world such as ISIS on the rampage, racism tearing our country apart, $20 trillion dollar in debt economy, corruption at the highest levels of government, killing of innocent unborn babies, etc.
Once they are engaged and have acknowledged that indeed we live in dangerous times, one can simply start asking questions such as:
- Do you think there a heaven or hell?
- Where will you go when you die?
- Do you have a spiritual belief?
- Who is Jesus Christ to you?
- Why would God allow you into His heaven?
- Would you like to know if what you believe is True?
As always we can look to Jesus as our mentor about this important aspect of sharing. My friend Joseph Matteras recently wrote: “Jesus demonstrated that the best way to teach people was to ask them questions. As a matter of fact, He asked over three hundred questions and only gave answers to three of them. When we allow people to answer questions, it reveals how much they really know, what’s really in their heart and involves them in the process of discovery that enables them to remember and learn better.”
Dictating to someone as to what they should believe is not effective; in fact, it seems to rile them up. Allowing them to read for themselves and think it through is far more effective.
When I have witnessed using this method I always ask them to read each statement out loud and then ask what that means to them? Usually I see their brows furrow as they think about it, and then they give an answer. I don’t want to jinx myself but when I have finished reviewing it and asked if they would like to invite Jesus into their life right now, I have enjoyed 100% success when using this tract, (can’t get much better than that).
Hey it only takes a few minutes to go through this with someone and yet it has the potential to enable someone to enjoy a relationship with our Lord FOREVER. Commit to leading someone to Christ before the weekend. You will not be sorry.
Rev. 3:20
I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come to him.
