Holy Cow! The Brits voted to leave the European Union yesterday. Pundits, establishment gurus, self-edifying media experts, and other pseudo intellectuals the world over had predicted that the United Kingdom would stay in the EU. But Brexit (or Britain’s exit vote) said otherwise and the populace voted to leave, prompting David Cameron (the Prime Minister and leader of the “Remain” movement) to resign.
So what does this all mean? First we need to understand the European Union. The unelected leaders of the European Union are virtual dictators to the EU’s 28 member countries, (now 27) and have been regulating practically every aspect of their society.
The rub comes in when one considers that they do so independent of the elected leadership of the member countries. In other words the people in Great Britain have to abide by whatever the EU tells them to do and their votes for leaders in their own countries don’t count.
One example of this is the EU’s “open borders” policy, whereby anyone in Europe can come and go as they please without border checks and live wherever they want. This means that Muslims and others can congregate in that country irrespective of the desires, or the wishes of the people who reside there. Of course this is but just one example. The EU regulations are far more sweeping and control the lives of those living in Europe including currency, environment and trading regulations.
Put simply the EU is a futuristic look at how the United Nations will one day rule the world. The UN is already trying to dictate things like gun ownership, environment, human rights, etc. on a global scale. It too is comprised of an elite group of unelected power brokers who are attempting to reign over every aspect of the lives of all the citizens in the world. The UN routinely votes against the United States on practically every matter including Israel’s right to exist. Does this smack of the antichrist and end times?
It should because one world rule led by the antichrist is going to happen; the Bible predicts it and therefore it must happen. So what about the Brexit vote?
To me it appears that God is delaying things a tad. Clearly, (at least in my mind), the Brexit vote indicates a move away from one world government.
Intriguing statistics indicate that young people wanted to remain in the EU, but many did not vote; it was the older voters that initiated the end of the régime. The young people in this country want to move toward Socialism too as indicated by their becoming followers of avowed Socialist Bernie Sanders. If this trend continues and these youngsters begin to vote, (or the old people who do vote die off), then one-world government will eventually come.
But the good news, at least for now, is that the people were willing to speak up and voted the establishment and media creeps out. They are hailing it as their Independence Day.
Ironically Donald Trump was visiting Scotland the day after the Brexit vote. He applauded the action taken by the Brits, and said that they could make their country great again just as he intends to make America great again. He welcomed the move with a familiar message: “Voters took back their country; people all over the world are angry over borders, they’re angry over people coming into the country and taking over, nobody even knows who they are.” Unless people get angry and vote in this country, I’m afraid we will see many more Orlando incidents in the future.
It is my feeling that God just might be allowing more time for a great awakening and revival. The Brits took a step away from one world government which will be followed by one world religion, one world currency and so forth. I applaud them for doing so.
Whatever God is up to let’s make haste. There are souls that need to receive Jesus and the workers are few. The mark of the beast is coming, but hopefully not right away.
