Suicide or Genocide?

Secretary of State John Kerry declared on Thursday that ISIS is committing genocide against Christians, Yazidis and Shiite Muslims in Syria and Iraq. They have also targeted Kurds and other Sunni Muslims, have tried to slaughter entire communities, enslaved captive women and girls for sex, and sought to erase thousands of years of heritage by destroying churches, monasteries, Bibles and religious texts, and ancient monuments.

Kerry finally admitted: “The Islamic State’s “entire worldview is based on eliminating those who do not subscribe to its perverse ideology”.

All I can say is it’s ABOUT TIME!

The statement by Kerry was made in response to a deadline set last year by Congress mandating that the Obama administration officially determine whether the targeting of minority religious and ethnic groups by the Islamic State should be defined as genocide. Obama opposed it, but eventually reluctantly succumbed after bilateral and worldwide pressure. (The house passed a unanimous resolution for it just last week. Getting them to agree to anything is in itself a miracle, and I suppose Obama and Kerry felt they had no other choice.)

Even in face of a domestic and global uproar, they waited until the very last day to comply and were quick to add that even though the genocide finding may make it easier for the United States to argue for greater action against the group, it does not create a legal obligation on the United States to do more.

Let’s face it the relentless destruction of the last remnants of the Middle East’s Judeo-Christian civilization has been well under way for his entire term in office. The Christian population of Iraq has fallen by two-thirds over 10 years as the world stood silent. What if that was happening right here in America. If you think that might be a far-fetched notion, talk to the Alliance Defending Freedom or the Liberty Counsel. They are fighting religious persecution right here in this country DAILY and I’m told they are out financed by a wide margin and are losing ground daily!

A thousand years ago, there were more Christians in the Middle East than in Europe. Today estimates put the Christian population of the region at under 5% and sinking rapidly (and the only reason that it is that high is because of the 9 million Copts who remain – for now – in Egypt).

Obama and his love for Muslims and political correctness has led to practically carte blanche pandering to Muslims. Their loud voices can be heard on most any form of media and they are often defended and encouraged by our president and his administration that refuse to even use the words “radical jihadist”. Meanwhile the savage butchery of Christians and other religious minorities continues unabated and thousands of years of their heritage is being destroyed. Our diplomats treat the persecution as a minor embarrassment, best ignored. The silence of our leaders about this subject is deafening.

While Mr. Obama makes the claim to be a Christian, his actions seem to indicate that he is a Muslim. Regardless of his personal faith, or lack thereof, his policies and actions have empowered psychotic Muslim fanatics who do not value the lives of anyone including their own. Make no mistake this is the end-game. Christians are being utterly destroyed along with 2000 years of their existence in the cradle of civilization.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer who was hanged for speaking out against Hitler and his holocaust said the following:

“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

I believe those in the Republican Party that are trying to divide it to suit their whims are part of the problem. We have elections to determine the will of the people. If elected, Hillary Clinton and/or Bernie Sanders are going to continue business as usual as if President Obama himself were still there running things.

To refuse to vote for the Republican nominee which is being threatened right now against Trump is insanity. How could we have so quickly changed from a nation embracing morality to a country literally begging to be destroyed? Last time conservatives and religiosity legalists would not vote for Mitt Romney because he was a Mormon; now Trump doesn’t fit their standards and they are threatening the same thing; meanwhile our country goes to hell and a hand basket.

Can’t we learn anything?

It is estimated that 3-4 Supreme Court vacancies will be filled by the next President. We may not even be allowed to worship God if the court is overwhelmed with liberals appointed by Hillary. And we can just forget about changing abortion laws, freedom of speech, and gun ownership. It’s suicide or genocide that these conservative purists are toying with.

For crying out loud VOTE!

Have a great weekend and go to Honey Lake Church or somewhere this Sunday, and please pray to God for our beloved country that is facing such peril.

Isaiah 5:20

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
