A friend wrote to me last night and stated: “George Barna’s research shows that in the U.S., there are only 9 percent of Americans who truly are Christian in worldview, and another source shows that only 16 percent of Americans attend church each week.
The greatest number of Americans are either luke-warm Christians with some strange ideas about Christianity, or Secularists, (and increasingly with young people, Socialist/Marxists, that vote for Bernie Sanders and can’t even define Socialism).
I know that as head of the Jesus Alliance that you are most interested in reaching people for Salvation, clearly a very important task; however we make a great mistake if we don’t address these two markets of which
- The largest market is the lukewarm Christian with strange ideas about Christianity and the Secularist.
- The other market is the believing Christian and what they can do to reach out to the lukewarm Christians and Secularist/ Socialist that are destroying America with their bad ideas.”
Hmmm…He need not fear that I’m aware that we must address those markets.
Ever wonder why so many people are lukewarm Christians and why so few attend church services? Well aside from being distracted by the lusts of the world, a large percentage of them have been brain washed for several decades now. George Soros the billionaire tycoon who believes in an “Open Society” has spent 11 billion dollars of his own money to change our society. Lest you think the problem will be over when the 89 year old dies; think again, he has five children who are just as dedicated to destroying the moral fabric of America as he is. The problem is not confined to the Soros family; he is joined by many wealthy ultra-liberal magnates that are using their multi-billion dollar foundations to fight right alongside him.
Schools and media are their preferred weapon of choice in the war against America. Lenin once said that if you tell people that snow is black instead of white long enough they will believe it. We face a mammoth propaganda war and they are good at making lies believable.
These purveyors of evil will not go away and they will never run out of money. The only way I see to defeat them (aside from Armageddon) is to send out the truth more often than they send out their lies. If they say the Bible is a myth, then we must say it is not a myth only ten times as much.
Last year this consortium sent out approximately one billion messages; the Jesus Alliance’s goal is to send out one billion per month. We have seen mathematically that this goal can be achieved by the end of the year provided we can raise the funding to make it happen. The truth can change the biblical worldview of so many people who either are too preoccupied or simply do not understand God’s love and plan for them.
I urge you to get involved. Follow us on Facebook; send posts to your friends, donate money, go to church; disciple others, get off the couch, roll up your sleeves and go to work for Jesus.
I urge you to get involved. God has disdain for the lukewarm church. Perhaps that is why America is declining at such a rapid pace. Don’t end up being spittle.
