So by now most everyone has seen the photos of American journalist Tom Foley who was beheaded by terrorists. President Obama has said: “that it shocked the conscience of the entire world”. I’m curious why the thousands of Christians who have been beheaded, crucified, cut in half and buried alive in mass graves by these same people for months have not shocked the conscience of the entire world. Christian children have been beheaded in front of their parents, wives have been raped and forced to marry murderous terrorists, they have been robbed of all of their possessions, forced from their homes with only the clothes on their backs, their centuries old churches destroyed.
Where have the president and press been on this issue?
I have to search for news on these atrocities and if I find any coverage at all it is four pages deep and certainly not on the first page. Where is the moral conscience for these people who simply want to worship Jesus in peace? Where is the outrage? Where is the press? Are they silent because the genocide of Christians is not news worthy, but murdering a journalist is?
Is it because of political correctness? We can’t call terrorists, terrorists, because it might offend some Muslim somewhere? Does the president avoid addressing the Christian persecution/genocide dilemma that is going on all over the world, because he wants to let everyone know that we are no longer a Christian nation as he has proclaimed.
Many of the press are in Ferguson MO covering gangs of thugs rioting and robbing convenience stores. They carefully refer to these criminals in their reporting as “protesters” who are going about the business of exercising their freedom of speech and right to assemble and march.
Why aren’t they at work like the rest of us poor slobs?
What they will not tell you is that Michael Brown who had just robbed a convenience store was a member of the Blood which is an ultraviolent gang, and according to reports he first assaulted the police officer and tried to take his gun away from him prior to being shot.
One news agency reported that he was an “Innocent unarmed child headed off to college”.
Huh?
The press also refuses to tell the public that nationwide 100 blacks are killed by police per year, while over 5000 are killed by other blacks killing blacks. Nearly 50% of all black males will be arrested by the age of 23. The Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention revealed that in 2010 black youths committed six times more murders, three times more rapes, 10 times more robberies and three times more assaults than did their white counterparts; most of it is black on black crime.
Similar statistics were released by the FBI in the “Uniform Crime Reports.” They determined, “black youths, who make up 16% of the youth population, accounted for 52% of juvenile violent crime arrests, including 58% for homicide and 67% for robbery.” And consequently as one would expect, black men were more than six times as likely as white men to be incarcerated in 2010.
Why?
Is it because white people are “mean” to them that they murder each other nightly and commit violent crimes? That seems to be the message that we get hammered with night after night by the press.
I believe that they have these problems largely because of their family situations. Most fathers in this community don’t raise their children and seldom marry. These kids, like all kids, need a mom and dad who love them and want to raise them up to reach for the stars and become successful. They need a stable home to be raised in and parents who cherish them and will teach them Christian values.
Black single moms struggle to raise their kids with a 72% single mother rate that eclipses that of most other groups, (17 percent of Asians, 29 percent of whites, 53 percent of Hispanics and 66 percent of Native Americans born to unwed mothers in 2008).
We are living in an age of propaganda or better put lies; we live in a land of fairy tales. The news is not news; it is political commentary designed to influence us to believe the things they want us to believe. I don’t think it is unreasonable to conclude that:
- The press ignores Christians because 97 per cent of them aren’t Christians themselves, and they don’t like us and/or our teachings against sin.
- Racial unrest is promoted as always being the fault of white people hell bent upon murdering innocent blacks, because it is politically incorrect to publish facts as I have done above and is certain to get you labeled as a racist.
- The press doesn’t want to promote the traditional family in part because of the homosexual agenda’s attempts at redefining marriage. God said in the Bible that marriage should be between a man and a woman and kids should come after marriage, (and not multiple times before marriage which is reminiscent of animals breeding at random). If that is publically said, then you are labeled a homophobe and a fundamentalist right wing nut.
Lying has become acceptable to our public. One very famous liar, Bill Clinton ended his term with a 66% approval rating. He was impeached for lying about his affair with a young intern Monica Lewinsky. He made the phrase, “It depends upon what one’s definition of is – is” in his lame defense of his lies. George Bush made famous the quote, “Read my lips no new taxes” and then signed new taxes right into law. President Obama of course said: “If you want to keep your insurance you can” which is merely one among many other lies he’s told.
Our country’s highest leaders routinely lie as does our press corps.
In John 8:33 it reads: Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, ‘You will become free ‘?” . . .
Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin . . .
The truth will set us free from the slavery of sin. This means that before our country can break the chains of slavery and be free, we must return to being a society of truth. Political correctness is nothing more than lying. Everyone knows the truth and yet they play some political correctness fantasy game of denial of the truth so that their peers won’t think badly of them and thus become labeled a homophobe, Islamophobe, racist, bigot, or right wing extremist.
Change begins with having the courage to speak the truth. Truth comes from God and lies come from satan . . .
