I attended the Global Media Outreach conference this weekend and was astounded at what they are doing all over the world. They reach 50-70 people per second with the Gospel which amounts to approximately one million people per day. Based on calculations of ADP, they expect their one billionth visitor, (get this), on Easter Sunday morning of this year.

One of their goals is to reach every inhabitant on the planet, (7.2 billion) multiple times prior to 2020 in order to give them plenty of opportunity to accept Christ. At that point the Great Commission will be fulfilled. They had Pat Galsinger as their keynote one morning; he was the CTO of Intel for 30 years and is currently CEO of the $5.2 billion company VmWare.

He gave us a glimpse into the future as to how technology will dominate the world, particularly mobile apps like cell phones.  This organization’s mission is to connect every human on the planet in every modality of life, work, learn, play, and rest so that Christ’s return might be hastened.

Hmmm . . . Embracing technology to reach the world for Christ – I like it.

Interestingly many in religious circles are opposed to this concept. They don’t believe folks can be saved by a click of a mouse; that flies in the face of those who attended the conference who gave their personal testimony, (such as one girl from Morocco), or the 8000 plus, online volunteers who counsel those who need discipleship in a multitude of languages. Most of them came to know the Lord through the program too.

I’m fortunate that I will be working with them to develop encouraging real life stories that will inspire and give hope to those website visitors that are devoid of it. Just imagine those snippets of hope and stories of overcoming obstacles through Jesus Christ going all over the world each day.

A friend of mine went with me and was telling Walt Wilson Founder and Chairman of GMO that he has a friend who reached 650 million people in a plethora of countries via his evangelistic television program who made decisions for Christ. Now they are talking about teaming up and combining forces – Exciting!

God is all powerful and nothing is insurmountable for Him. He has a remnant and He is calling us into action to do our parts. You need to be a part of it and get in on the excitement and blessings. You might say, “Wait a minute I don’t know any of these powerful guys; I don’t have anything to offer”.

I say that you don’t have to know anyone powerful to serve God. You know plenty of folks who do not attend church that you could invite to attend services with you. Last year less than 2% of regularly attending Christians invited someone to church in an entire year. You could also pray every day for a renewal of faith in God in America and elsewhere around the world. You could pray for the protection of the leadership that is already under satanic attack. Don’t you realize that the most powerful resource God has given us is prayer?

Do something! If not now, when?

Romans 11:5

So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace.
