I’m nearing completion of my book and the chapter I just finished contained Latter Day prophecies concerning some of the events that will occur prior to the return of Jesus for His church. As I listed them I was amazed that anyone could deny the Bible or God or prophecy. Below is a small excerpt from that chapter in which God is directly telling some characters in the book about some of His prophecies:
“These are relevant to the current times in which men now live and if they will just open their eyes and hearts, they will believe and be saved. Not a single prophecy can be denied, including the one that predicted that the nation of Israel would be born in one day. Gentlemen, that event occurred on May 14, 1948 when Israel became a nation.
I also ordained that when the time for my return to the world grew imminent that, the Jewish nation that had been scattered throughout the world enduring hundreds of years of exile, would re-gather in the Holy Land, (Israel). They have done just that! I predicted that Israel would once again prosper, and it has. I declared that a pure language would be restored in the Holy Land and you will note that Hebrew is now her language and it has no swear words in it,
I said way back in ancient times when it took days to deliver a message of only a few miles that worldwide communications would be deployed and they have. When people were still traveling in ox carts I told the world that travel would be greatly increased, as would knowledge. Both are now reality.
And at a time when primitive bows and arrows were still being used, my prophets predicted that mankind would achieve the capability of destroying all life with their terrible weapons of mass destruction and described in perfect detail the effect that nuclear weapons would have on them and the world. I predicted that a global cry for peace would emanate from a world grown weary of the wars and rumors of wars and it has.
I forecast that the earth would be filled with violence and that many would forsake the Ten Commandments as a moral code: blasphemy would be common, committing adultery and sexual immorality would be unexceptional, stealing, lying, coveting would be everyday occurrences, and that homosexuality would be flaunted as it was in the days of Lot before I destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.
I foretold that substantial wealth and luxuries would abound, and people would make those things their idols and humanity would become lovers of material things. I warned that children would become increasingly disobedient to their parents, and the hearts of many would grow cold. I said that epidemic drug use would occur and a dramatic increase in the occult along with it. I told the world to expect chaotic and strange weather with violent storms, and that earthquakes would occur with more frequency. I warned of deadly disease and predicted that famine and starvation of entire nations would be common. One need only look to continents like Africa to see that all of the foregoing has occurred.
I foretold that Anti-Semitism worldwide would occur and that all surrounding nations would be united against Israel. I added the warning that Russia, (Magog), will rise as a military power and align itself against Israel. I announced that a European Union would be formed. I predicted that a 200,000,000 man army would arise in Asia, (China) and stand ready to put its face against Israel during the tribulation.
I warned of vast global economic problems and that the world would try to address it by creating a one world economic solution, government and religion. It will indeed occur and the antichrist will head that effort, but only after I come for My church. Three and one half years into his reign the antichrist will invade Israel and will defile the temple in Jerusalem by sitting on his throne in that Holy place and he will rule the entire world and no commerce will transpire unless they bear his mark of the beast 666 as a sign of their allegiance and their worship of him.
There are many other last days’ prophecies gentlemen, and they are irrefutable testaments to the truth of the Bible, to Me and to My power, but many refuse to believe or even acknowledge them. I even predicted that behavior and that they would deny its truth and I foretold that men would mock these warning signs of the end of the age saying, ‘These signs have always been around’.
You will note in your Bibles that I also foretold that in the last days, fallen angels would interact with mankind. The influence of this satanic warfare on men combined with the hard hearts of many will cloud their judgment and despite the Bible’s numerous warnings and last day’s prophecies, many people will be taken off guard when these events culminate and they will still refuse to call upon Me as their Lord. On the other hand there will be many that when they hear this Gospel preached will call upon My name and be saved.
My friends you will have the distinct and enviable privilege of finishing the work of My church and soon every person on earth shall hear my message. Those who have remained faithful including My disciples, missionaries, preachers, Sunday school teachers, laymen, prayer warriors and your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world who have been tirelessly preaching the Gospel since Golgotha, (some of which were persecuted and martyred for My namesake) will very soon reap their just reward and be redeemed.
When your work is done and it has been fully satisfied that all have heard the Gospel, then at a time of my Father’s choosing all true followers of Me will hear My voice beckoning them to join Me and suddenly they will vanish, raptured and caught up with Me in the air and they will see heaven.”
Unless you have your head stuck in the sand, you recognize that these prophecies, some of which were made 2000 to 4000 years ago in ancient times, have already transpired. While Jesus said that no one knows the exact time of His return for His church, He did say that we will know it is near by the “signs of the times”, (fulfilled prophecy).
Some friends of mine were sad to read of this and lamented the fact that the End was drawing nigh, because life for them is good right now and they are having a blast.
Hmmm . . . I lament the fact that the End is drawing near because so many lost people have not accepted Christ as their Savior and I don’t want to see them doomed to hell forever. While I enjoy life with my family and friends in this world, I’ve read about heaven and whatever joy I realize in this world I know is nothing in comparison to that which I shall know when I walk through those pearly gates into heaven.
The Bible states that if we love this life we will lose it. “He that loves his life shall lose it; and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honor.” – John 12:25
Remember the lesson of Lot and his wife. God told them that He was going to destroy that evil place and when they left to escape its destruction they were told not to look back under any circumstance. We are not told why she was tempted to look back, perhaps she yearned for or was grieved for her home or some possession left behind, or maybe even for the people of Sodom in general, but we do know that she was severely punished for it and instantly turned to a block of salt. This has stood as a grim reminder that we should not love this world.
We should want to follow God wherever He is and not get too hung up on this old world. That is not to say that we cannot or should not enjoy God’s many blessings, but it is to say that we should focus on Him and not the world.
