After being out of town for several days and not having time to watch the news I finally had the opportunity to sit down and watch it last night, but all it consisted of was several stories about a bunch of members of the Obama administration lying about the attack on our embassy in Libya which resulted in the assassination of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and his being dragged through the streets of Benghazi.

The Obama spin team seemed hell bent upon blaming the carefully orchestrated attack on riots stimulated by an anti-Muslim video instead of a carefully planned terrorist attack by Al Qaeda on that day that is so special to America, 9/11.

Duhhh…That’s right Mr. prez we’re a bunch of dumb bunnies in this country and we’ll watch how cool you are on Letterman and faithfully watch the View and for sure buy into your fantasy team’s spin.

Makes me want to puke…

I tried to watch the debate last night but seeing Biden’s grinning, spinning, smirking, disrespectful face was just too much for me. I wanted to put my foot in his mouth, but since my television is mounted on the wall and I’m not a karate star, I muttered to myself and went into my office to catch up on a computer chock full of e-mails.

I was too tired to work so I ended up watching a DVR recording of the Atlanta Falcons defeating the Washington Redskins. The Falcons played poorly and made several serious mistakes right up until the fourth quarter, but in the end they pulled it off and won.

The irony of this game was not lost on me and gives me hope, (a Washington D.C. team losing to a team that never gave up). Our country is in the final period of the game. The upcoming election could very well decide if we win or lose. We’ve made some serious mistakes, but if enough people will go to the polls and encourage others to do the same, it’s not too late to win our country back.

I got an e-mail from the Romney chief strategist in Florida yesterday and he said that he hopes to put me back on the trail with Governor Huckabee again very soon. He went on to say that we need every Christian vote we can get in this very tight election. (Isn’t it odd that Champion the Vote estimates that out of 60 million Christians in the United States, only 30 million of them vote in any given election or are even registered to vote. Those votes could determine the election folks.)

We have a clear choice in this country. Obama’s record of promoting immorality and anti-Christ ideology is as clear as crystal. Christians should vote against this man for that reason alone.

But if you vote more for your pocketbook or other reasons, objectively look at the facts and make a logical choice. Don’t vote Democrat just because your grand pappy did. Anyone with even a smidgeon of a brain can see that the attack on Libya was conducted by organized terrorists. The same holds true with this election when it comes to economic, and foreign policy issues. Don’t buy into the lies. His policies just aren’t working. We are facing eminent disaster in most every area.

God has plans for us to prosper, but those plans require that we trust in Him and His laws. That’s the kind of Hope and Change I’m talking about. Vote for Romney and for a God fearing congress!

The weather is finally cooling down and hunting season is rapidly approaching, and in less than a month the election will be over.

Nice!

Have a great weekend and go to church this Sunday!

Jer. 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
