Silent is deadly

One time I visited the holocaust museum and was deeply moved by what I saw. It was unbelievable to see so many lives lost to a maniacal dictator who callously disregarded human life except for the chosen few that he deemed deserving enough to continue to live on planet earth. Hitler believed that Germans were the superior race and that Jews, Gypsies, people with disabilities, and others should be “cleansed” from the world. His solution was to build gas chambers to exterminate six million people and use huge furnaces to incinerate their remains.

The museum had a huge pile of shoes on display that the Nazi soldiers removed from their victims before they were executed. I don’t know why seeing those shoes affected me as it did, but tears streamed from my eyes when I saw them. It just seemed to bring the matter to a personal level and move it from surreal to real. The loss of so many lives occurred many years ago, but I grieved for them as though it had just happened. I angrily wondered how anyone could be so cold hearted and cruel and it made me despise satan all the more.

I’ve often wondered about the Christian people who lived in Germany at that time and whether or not anyone protested the heartless raving lunacy of Hitler, especially in the early days as he rose to power. Could the carnage have been prevented had enough people put their foot down and emphatically said, “NO, this is morally wrong, and we will not be a part of it?

Yesterday I once again wrote about our anti-Christian prez and once again I got several angry letters denouncing my audacity to criticize him. I urged them all to unsubscribe if they don’t want to hear it, because I’m just getting started. I wish they could overlook the charisma and take an objective look at just who it is that they support. Consider that Obama is the only senator who voted to allow doctors to perform infanticide on babies that survive a partial birth abortion. It’s bad enough that he supports third trimester abortion in the first place; this grisly procedure involves allowing the baby’s head to exit the womb and then a needle is inserted into its skull and the baby’s brain is sucked into it which kills the infant. Obama took it a step further, he voted to absolve doctors of any wrongdoing if the baby somehow miraculously survived the barbarism and completely exited the womb still alive, and the doctor finished the job of killing the baby outside the womb. Ordinarily this would subject the doctor to criminal proceedings for performing what would amount to infanticide, but Obama wanted them absolved of any liability.

Nice…

How do you suppose he would like having a needle stuck in his head and someone suck what little brains he has into a giant syringe? And if he survived, then they could just finish the job. Is that where ObamaCare is headed with its panel of judges who decide who will live and die? What gives him the right to do that to a helpless child (or to an elderly or severely disabled person)? Perhaps a better question might be WHO gave him that right?

Hmmm…the electorate who voted for both him and those in Congress who think like him for sure.

But what about those who silently stand by with no hue and cry against the killing of unborn children? What about those too lazy or “busy” to go vote. Are they responsible?  Were the “silent majority” Germans who stood by as the Jews were rounded up compliant? Could the carnage have been prevented had enough people put their foot down and emphatically said, “NO, this is morally wrong, and we will not be a part of it?

I wonder if sometime out there in the future, our country will one day come to its senses and a holocaust museum be built for the 40 million babies that have been aborted in this country. I wonder if God has a living memorial comprised of forty million babies in heaven. Do they continuously petition God to punish America for sins against them? The Bible is clear that martyrs petition God day and night to avenge them; therefore I wouldn’t be surprised if those babies did likewise…

That is an interesting question to me. Apparently half of the people in this country, including many who are reading this, think that it is totally acceptable to end an unborn child’s life. Do you think Christ, the One who created all life agrees with killing unborn children?

As for me, I think Jesus grieves for those babies and I think it makes Him angry to hear their haunting cries. Perhaps that is why the United States got Barrack Hussein Obama as its supreme leader. Perchance the decline of our once great country is merely our just punishment for turning our backs on God and not only for adopting on demand abortion, but turning to greed, homosexuality, pornography, drugs, alcoholism, and other perversion of God’s laws.

We have a choice in four months. We can be apathetic like the German society was as Hitler and his Nazis rose to power, or we can fight. If you don’t vote against Obama and those like him and encourage others to vote in the same manner; if you don’t donate/raise money and offer your valuable time towards defeating them, then it is only fitting that you accept what this country is becoming without complaint. And….Realize that there will be an accounting for the evil that is destroying our country and we will not escape our part of it. I’m glad I’m doing whatever I can to combat it, and if a few people get mad and unsubscribe from this devotional because of it, EXCELLENT!

The time for sitting around doing nothing but watching TV and bitching and moaning is over. This is SERIOUS! And it will take HARD WORK to defeat the wickedness before us in November. Get off the couch today…Together we can make the difference!

Matt.24:12

Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold…
