Global warming is hot

I did not mail out WFTD on Friday because I thought it was Saturday, (all day long). I don’t know how I got my days mixed up; they all seem to run together anymore. Sorry about that

Friday was my first day back in the Keys and I spent most of the day getting my boat ready to go fishing. I fueled it up and took it for a test ride and got most of the kinks out of it and now I’m ready for action.

Before you Eskimos located in the frigid north get too jealous, I will share with you that its cold down here too. The weather is not conducive to enjoying a day on the water fishing; the temperature has dipped all of the way down into the high forties/low fifties and its windy enough to fly a kite half way to Cuba.

What happened to global warming? I wonder what the truth really is concerning that subject. Are we headed towards a manmade disaster of mammoth proportions that it is so severe that it warrants giving a Nobel Prize to Al Gore just for enlightening us about this dire threat to civilization? Or is it all a hoax cleverly designed to jump start several “green” businesses and line greedy pockets with billions like the $100 million or so that Gore is already reputed to have pocketed from it?

Hmmm It is obvious from the recently discovered e-mails that data is being manipulated in such a way as to make it appear that global warming is worse than it really is and we know for sure that at least “some” scientists are lying about it. Not a good sign.

Observing the nutty looking weirdo supporters with dyed green hair demonstrating at the recent global warming conference is not exactly confidence building either, nor is the realization that head nut and Internet inventor extraordinaire, Al Gore, is their leading spokesperson. But we can surely know that the threat is real simply by listening to any of the many teleprompter speeches eloquently delivered by President Obama on the subject… Can’t we?

Isn’t this the same guy who said we would have transparency in government and lobbyists would not be secretly meeting in closed sessions to determine important matters like health care for every man, woman, and child in America? Somehow even those stirring speeches are insufficient to convince me and after thinking it over I must admit that I am not fully onboard the global warming bandwagon just yet

But then again what do I know? I don’t even know what day it is.

I know that the Bible states that most of the world will join together under the leadership of someone called the anti-Christ and go against Israel and there will be a battle called Armageddon that will be so severe that the world would be destroyed if God did not personally intervene in order to end it. Jesus will end the war and take over and peace will ultimately reign for those of us who love Him.

Hmmm After due consideration of all of the data, I think I will stick with the Bible for my end of time doomsday predictions, especially since I cannot find any doomsday predictions for global warming in the Bible except perhaps some references to a place called hell
