Well it looks like old Tiger Woods had a tiger in the old tank.

Hmmm Beautiful wife, two wonderful kids, global fame, good looks with wonderful smile, excellent health, huge fortune including one of the largest yachts in the world and yet Tiger was not satisfied and still yearned for more.

This modern day saga reminds me of King Solomon. The Bible teaches that he was the richest and wisest man the world will ever know and yet he couldn’t find satisfaction from all the world had to offer.

With over a thousand wives and concubines, King Solomon for sure had a tiger in his tank too, (and that was before Viagra). Study the book of Ecclesiastes sometime and read about his life. He tried everything that unlimited money, wisdom, and fame could offer including wine, women, song, public works, and of course politics. He was so smart and wise that people came from all over the world to listen to his sage advice; even the Queen of Sheba came to sit at his feet and attentively listen to his wise counsel.

I went to Israel and saw the ruins of some of his projects that are still standing today, thousands of years later. He was something I tell you. He wrote the book of Proverbs and hardly a day goes by that I do not thumb through it and read from it. I have learned much about improving my personal life, raising a family and managing a business from this one book.

Don’t be too hard on Tiger. He is just a weak human being like the rest of us. His sins and transgressions will be dealt with in a righteous manner by Jesus Christ and He does not need any help from any of us. I mean after all “Who among us wants to throw the first stone?” It will not be me I tell you!

I’m no golfing fan and certainly not some moron Tiger groupie who yells “Get in the hole” every time he swings a club, but from a human standpoint I pray that he will learn from this serious mistake and the difficult consequence that he will endure caused by it and go on to make his peace with Jesus Christ and get his life straightened out and salvage his little family.

He might start by reading the verse below that is the summation of Ecclesiastes and fairly well sums up what King Solomon learned in his amazing life. Tiger and all of us need to understand that the pleasures of this world offered up by satan and his scumbags are nothing but stubble that will be burned away when God purifies this world and prepares us for eternity.

News flash: Don’t put too much stock in the world and all that it has to offer as you prepare your goals for 2010.

Eccl. 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His
commandments,
For this is man’s all.
For God will bring every work
into judgment,
Including every secret thing,
Whether good or evil.
