Open microphones

One day I used the company intercom system to page someone. I hung up the phone and then I crudely belched at the top of my lungs and then rudely yelled down at my wife, who was downstairs, to bring me some tea.

At least I thought I hung up the phone, just then I saw an urgent e-mail come across my computer screen and my assistant informed me that I needed to hang up the phone quick, that I was broadcasting to the entire company.

Hmmm 180 some odd employees just heard their beloved CEO expel gas and scream at his wife. How unprofessional of me Sigh.

Those open microphones get you every time. I was thinking of this incident as I rode my horse this morning and it came to my mind that everything we say is an open microphone to our Lord. Yep He hears it all. The crude jokes, the trash mouth cursing, the gossip, the lies, the bragging

We cannot just hang up the phone on Him, better to just clean up our act.
