Rainy day

Sometimes the sun takes a holiday and we have rainy days. Bad things happen to good people but they happen to bad people too. Rainy days are as much a part of our lives as sunny days. We should learn to appreciate the sunny days and all that we have. It can all be gone a moment’s time.

Everything in this life is temporal and will soon disappear, everything that is but our souls. Our souls live on forever. Jesus gave His life in order that your soul and mine can live on forever with Him in heaven. Reject His sacrifice and your soul will live forever apart from God and everything that is good in this life and the next.

Do you treat your soul as if it were the most valuable and important thing in your life? You should because it cannot die.

Make your peace with God by accepting His Son as your Savior today. I hope you have done so, because you never know when a storm may suddenly descend upon your life and take it away.

Jesus alone will determine your eternal destiny. Accept Him or reject Him – that is what free will is all about.
