I watch homosexuals rampage across the country marching and demonstrating and demanding that the rest of us condone their perverted lifestyle and allow them to marry. I see the promise to close Guantanamo and wonder if they really will release the terrorists that reside there onto the streets of America. I see the lawmakers preparing to give the financial institutions and now the automakers billions of our tax dollars in order that their powerful UAW union autoworkers can continue to receive over three times the average American’s salary and benefits and run their poorly managed companies into the ground. I see that my hard earned tax dollars will also soon be paying for stem cell research and strengthening abortion rights. Oh and I see that soon my taxes will be raised in order to “spread it around” and give it to those who don’t work and pay no taxes; (that really inspires me to go out and invest heavily, takes some risks, and work 100 hours a week to start a new company or two).

Ahhh but what we hear constantly is that what this country needs is “change”. Well hang onto your hats because change is a-coming!

I’m tired of change already aren’t you? Focus on God during these troubling times. The Bible assures us that one thing will never change and that is God. He is not a lemming dashing madly into the sea, He remains steadfast and immovable. His laws will stand forever regardless of political persuasion and know that peer pressure is irrelevant to Him who has no peers. God is pure and clean. He loves truth and honesty and opposes perversion and chaos. He states in His holy word that if someone shall not work he shall not eat. He instructs us to fortify our house whereby we can protect ourselves. God loves children including those in the womb. The Bible states that God is angry all day long at the wicked and that homosexuality is an abomination. Hmmm No need to wonder what He thinks about our current situation.

God already knows that things will get worse in this world, much worse. He has prophetically laid it out for us. He states that the love of many will grow cold and the world will become more and more wicked, as in the days of Noah. Nations will turn their back on His beloved Israel and it will trigger the beginning of the end. Soon thereafter the Rapture will occur and all believers will be safely removed from the earth to be with our Savior leaving nothing but non-believers. (Hmmm That should be interesting; a world without one Christian believer left in it!) The antichrist will deceive the world and convince them that He is the Savior and those left behind will worship him. He will lead them yet again like lemmings into the sea into the devastating seven years of tribulation and finally that infamous battle and bloodbath called Armageddon. In fact things will get so bad that eventually Jesus will have to return to the earth in order to keep the human race from utterly destroying the world and everything in it.

But return He will and we Christians will return with Him and watch Him defeat satan, his minions including the antichrist and his followers and we will live peacefully with Jesus, our King, during the thousand year reign. Soon thereafter after a brief appearance by satan for his final hurrah, God will bind him forever in the deepest hole in hell and we will know peace forever with satan, his demons, and all unbelievers forever removed from those of us who love Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. They will all be in a place called hell which was described by Jesus as being a lake of unquenchable never-ending fire and brimstone, a place of misery, loneliness, darkness, and torment and where there will be “weeping and gnashing of the teeth”.

God is steadfast and immovable. He is love, peace, joy, and righteousness, personified. No darkness, no evil can exist in His holy presence. No turmoil, no heartbreak, no death, no sickness, no tears, no lying no cheating, no hypocrisy, no favoritism, no cronyism, and no corruption can approach Him. He is unchanging! He stands at the door and knocks and awaits you to allow Him into your heart.

I hope and pray that you answered that gentle knock and allowed Him to enter. If so, you have nothing to fear about these troubling times that will continue to get worse as we enter into these last days that God promised would surely come. He told us not to worry and we should obey His command. Please keep in mind today that God cannot lie; He foretold the foregoing; not me! If you do not like this message, please take your complaint directly to God! (Be forewarned though you cannot convince “Him” that the world’s brand of change is good)

Psalms 37:1
Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the workers
of iniquity.
For soon they shall be cut down
Like the grass
And wither as the green plant.
Trust in the Lord and do good.
