My wife and I have booked a trip to the Holy Land in April. I am pretty psyched up about being in this place that is so special to our Lord and Savior. Imagine walking where Jesus walked and praying in the Garden of Gethsemane or high up on Calvary, (Golgotha), or the Garden Tomb where two men were walking and were joined by Jesus after His resurrection.

We will visit the Wailing Wall, cross the Sea of Galilee, visit Bethlehem, Nazareth, and walk the Via Dolorosa, (the route Jesus took as He carried His cross to Calvary). There will be Baptisms in the Jordan River and we will read the Sermon on the Mount as we gather on the Mount of Beatitudes. I have been told that this is a life changing trip and it truly makes the Bible come alive; I look forward to it with great anticipation.

I can only imagine what it might be like to travel to Megiddo on the plain of Armageddon the serene site where King Solomon’s stable is located. As I view the stables, it will not be lost on me that this will be the site of the last great battle of this world where blood will run as high as a horse’s neck on this very plain.

The entire world stays focused on this tiny little country that is so special to our Lord and Savior. Anyone who doubts the Bible need only read the newspaper or watch the evening news and see God’s prophecies come alive every day as Russia and Iran solidify their dark alliances with themselves, Syria and others and their armies encircle her in preparation of that day that will surely come when they will attack with a vengeance and God Himself will intervene to save her.

One day Jesus will return to this land and He will personally reign over the world from His throne in His rebuilt temple located in Jerusalem. The world will enjoy peace for one thousand years and after the millennium those who are faithful to Him will enjoy peace forever; those who reject Him will be eternally separated in Hell where there will be no peace, only weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

It is not too late to make your decision for the Lord, but it might be too late if you keep delaying it. Surrender! End your war against God and offer Jesus your heart, soul, mind, and spirit today and reserve your place with God in heaven. Jesus came in order that we might live. He stands ready to forgive you whatever sins you might have committed, in order that you might be born again washed in His blood, pure as new fallen snow, purified and sanctified in God’s holy sight. Won’t you allow Him to come into your heart today? It costs nothing, but buys eternal peace and joy.Jesus paid that price for each and every one of us. Take advantage of this once in a lifetime offer while it is still available.

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him,
“Most assuredly I say to you, unless
One is born again, he cannot
See the kingdom of God.
