I absolutely LOVE my morning coffee and generally have at least two cups for the day. Such was not always the case; in fact I did not start drinking coffee until I was fifty-two years old. Huh? Now one might wonder why I waited so long, or why I even started drinking coffee at all after going a lifetime without it.

The reason is that I got tired of saying no. It seems everywhere I went that someone would ask me if I would like a cup of coffee. I would always say no. One day I just got tired of saying no and said yes and I tried a cup and have been drinking it with great enjoyment ever since.

I also said no to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for quite some time. Finally one day I said yes and have been enjoying life to its fullest ever since. Has the Lord put a burden on your heart to do something and yet you are resisting Him? Perhaps you have already accepted Him as your Savior, but you have not started faithfully tithing. Or maybe he is putting a burden on your heart to teach Sunday school or go on a mission trip. Stop “just saying no” and start “just saying yes”. Change the no to a yes today and start realizing the best life has to offer. It is as easy to say yes, as well, saying yes.

Morning coffee is g-r-r-r-eat! But just listen (below) as to what the Lord promises us concerning our just saying yes to tithing:

Malachi 3:10
“Bring all the tithes into the
storehouse,
That there may be food in My
house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the
windows of heaven
and pour out for you such
blessing
That there will be no room
enough to receive it.”
