Atheist magnet

I have turned into somewhat of an atheist magnet of late. It seems that in the last couple of months that I have encountered more atheists than in the last several years. It is as if I attract them like a magnet, or insects to a light. I am getting worn down arguing with them.

The Bible states that any man who states that there is no God is a fool.
I do not believe that many people actually are atheists. The Bible also states that it is written in every man’s heart to know God. Many more folks are more agnostic than atheistic, in that they do not deny the existence of a God; instead they simply do not know what they believe.
At one point in my life I was an agnostic and further I believed if there was a God he was mean and I wanted no part of Him. Thank God my bitter defiance and rebellion was overcome by the love of Christ entering my life for good. I believe many self described atheists are defiant against Christianity perhaps because of a bad experience with someone purporting to be a Christian. I experienced that as a kid.

Most do not want anyone telling them about Christ. That great “philosopher” of the 60’s Jimi Hendrix once sang the lyrics:

“I’m the one who has to die when it’s my time, so let me live my life the way I want to – White collar conservative flashing down the street pointing his plastic finger at me – I’m gonna wave my freak flag high – high – HIGH!”

Jimi Hendrix lived his life the way he wanted to, he waved his freak flag high, died alone by choking on his own vomit emanating from taking too many drugs, and then he faced whatever was coming. Now he knows whether or not there is a consequence for his decision process in this life. One day we will cross that same bridge and we will individually know what that experience is like too. Will we slowly evolve into a lump of coal? Will we burn in Hell alone in darkness for eternity?
Enjoy paradise for eternity with Christ? Where is Jimi Hendrix now?
Where will you and I be when we die?

We are put on this earth with a free will. We choose how to live our life and we are given complete freedom to either accept or reject Jesus Christ as our Savior. Atheists, agnostics, and non-Christian believers of other faiths reject Jesus and Christianity. My faith based upon the holy Bible which I believe to be the unchanging error free word of God states with certainty that anyone who rejects Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made for our sins will go to Hell and be eternally separated from God. To many who apply human logic to Christianity, it seems to be a very narrow faith. It is narrow. It is not easy to be a Christian in a secular world either. We are often ridiculed and in many countries such as Saudi Arabia persecuted even to death for having faith in Jesus. Christians must take a narrow path and it is sometimes difficult. Our life on this earth is so brief yet so vitally important for eons to come. It pays for everyone to take a break from our fast paced world and reflect for a moment and consider eternity and where we will be spending it. Jesus states unequivocally below, all must come to God and ultimately enter heaven through the narrow gate of Jesus Christ; that is the Christian message. Are you a Christian? If you believe the foregoing I would state yes…If not you are probably in the majority and heading for destruction like so many lemmings heading out to sea…

Matthew 7:13

Enter by the narrow gate; for

wide is the gate and broad is the way

that leads to destruction, and there

are many who go in by it?

Because narrow is the gate and

difficult is the way which leads to

life, and there are few who find it.
