The article in the link below is long but interesting. It defines the sin problem that Christians face in stark terms. If the information is accurate, it is a cynical commentary on the state of Christianity today.
Alas I’m afraid that too often Christians yield to the temptations all around them in spite of their belief system that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God who died on a cross for our sins just like their “lost” counterparts.
I think many folks need to remember that satan is not equal to us. He is supernatural, extremely powerful, and created second to God Himself.
He is joined by an innumerable host of still powerful, though fallen, demonic angels consisting of 1/3 of all of the angels in heaven, all of whom are our dedicated “super-power” adversaries.
Sin was always impossible to defeat without the assistance of the Holy Spirit; the Bible unequivocally states that. Satan’s intensification of his all out war against humanity as we head into the last days is even more difficult to withstand, and it is simply more than we can bear alone. The Bible teaches that we cannot make it on our own without the full armor of God; (1.Daily Bible study, 2. Prayer 3. Fellowship with other Christians). Not enough Christians surround themselves with the “full” armor of God, particularly “daily” Bible study.
As bad as things are with Christians occasionally succumbing to sins themselves just imagine what it will be like when the Christians are removed with the Rapture…

2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will
Come as a thief in the night, in which
The heavens will pass away with a
Great noise, and the elements will
Melt with fervent heat; both the earth
And the works that are in it will be
Burned up.
Therefore since all these things
Will be dissolved, what manner of
Persons ought you to be in holy
Conduct and godliness.
