I believe that one of the hardest things a Christian faces is determining the will of God for our lives. It is fairly easy to know when we are not within the will of God because we cannot find peace; however finding the path to peace is not always easy. Personally it is one of my biggest challenges. I have a restless spirit and I believe that God is gently telling me to change direction. Being mired in sin and/or being back-sliden can cause this condition. My faith is unshakable and I have made very good progress in recent years regarding my personal struggle with resisting sin, and I do not believe that my restless spirit is derived from being mired in sin or lack of faith. I think God wants me to do something different with my life and unfortunately I do not have a clue as to what it is.

At times I have been very close to God. It is a wonderful peaceful situation. Being out of the will of God will keep one awake at night. The Bible tells us that we were created for Gods purpose and that we all have gifts and we are to use them to full advantage to serve Gods purpose. Unfortunately we are not given written orders nor are we verbally instructed as to our personal purpose. We are left to figure it out on our own through prayer and meditation.

It is kind of rare that I ask you to pray for me, but this is one of those times. Im really struggling with this and Im getting nowhere. Please pray that God might reveal His plan for my life and then that I might accomplish it with the time I have left in this world. I believe in prayer; the Bible states that if we will pray and sincerely believe with all of our hearts that God will answer our prayer and that we can even move mountains with steadfast faith.

Are you restless? Do you have wonderful soothing peace in your life? Peace comes from God, if you too are restless join me in prayer to discern the way you should proceed…If you have peace, enjoy this wonderful gift that only comes through Jesus Christ!

Phil. 4:7

Be anxious for nothing, but in

everything by prayer and supplication

with thanksgiving, let your

requests be made known to God;

and the peace of God which

surpasses all understanding, will guard

your hearts and minds through

Christ Jesus.

How well do you know the Bible?
