Protect your kids

I related to you yesterday about someone who indicated that he believed in God and Jesus, but refused to go to church. He also indicated that he felt that if he were to die, that he would indeed go to Hell. This same person has a young child and he does not take the child to church or Sunday School. Isnt it odd that he believes the way he does, yet will not protect his child? Imagine if the child was in danger from a molester. This guy would quit his job if necessary to protect his child. He would protect his child with the passion of s sow grizzly bear if anyone or anything tried to harm the child, yet satan is allowed to essentially have the child. I know that he loves his child as he talks about it often. I know that he believes in God and jesus and that he and his family should attend church and do the things a Christian should do.



The Bible indicates that if we raise a child according to Gods laws that they will not depart from them when they grow old. It is fine to decide that you are willing to go to Hell, but it is a travesty to raise your children that way. Raise your kids in church. If you are too lazy to go, or to stubborn, then drop them off, or let a neighbor take them, or let the church bus pick them up. Parents have a responsibility to protect their children and that goes for protecting them from satan and eternal damnation as well. Children need God and the church and Sunday School is an excellent way for them to obtain their foundation.
