Have you done a charitable deed for anyone lately? Jesus said it is more blessed to give than receive. What does “blessed” mean. It means that you will receive blessings from it. Do you know anyone who needs some help right now? Most of us do. I know some people who are really struggling. Could I help? Sure I could. So why don’t I? Good question. Obviously I want blessings, and Jesus Himself said it is blessed to give.If nothing else, it sure will make me feel good, knowing that I have helped someone out who really needs some help today.I believe I’ll help someone today. How about you?

P. S. When you do, keep it quiet, as in between you and God…Shhhhhhhhh….

Matt. 6:1
Take heed that you do not do
your charitable deeds before
men, to be seen by them. Otherwise
you have no reward from your
Father in heaven.
Therefore when you do a
charitable deed, do not sound a
trumpet before you as the hypocrites
do in the synagogues and in the streets,
that they may have glory
from men. Assuredly I say to you,
they have their reward.
But when you do a charitable
deed, do not let your left hand know
what your right hand is doing,
that your charitable deed may
be in secret; and your Father who
sees in secret will Himself reward
you openly.

How well do you know the Bible?
Jesus commented on the sacrificial value of gifts with an observation ofgifts being offered to the temple treasuryby the rich and a poorwidow. The poor widow’s contribution exceeded “all” of the rich people’s contributions combined. How much did the poorwidow put into the treasury?
