What is your hurry?

This morning I nearly had two car accidents with insane drivers driving recklessly at high speeds trying to hurry, hurry, hurry! I almost had road rage myself and ten years ago would probably have exploded and chased one of them down. Instead gray hair and a “tempered” temper won out and instead I got out of the way as quickly as possible and considered myself lucky not to have crashed my car. People are flying around like frenzied rats in a maze.Atlanta traffic has some rude drivers, but it is far worse in New York and California. Newark is the worst of the worst!

Where did road rage come from? Why are people so uptight? What is everyone’s hurry? We are weak little creatures who do not even know why we scurry around in a frenzy. God must get quite amused watching from afar. Recently I visited the Florida Keys and saw an interesting sign that said, “What is your hurry? You are already here!” I like that a lot…
