One thing that many of us struggle with is not behaving like Christians. I have overcome everything from atheism to drugs and alcohol, but I still struggle with foul language. There is no doubt that I am a born again Christian and that I love the Lord Jesus, but you would never know it when I get mad and use foul language.I hate it when this happens and I hate to hear foul language from others. Unfortunately all Christians struggle with sin. You may never use foul language, but have an affinity for pornography, or perhaps you cannot just stop at having one or two beers but have to down a twelve pack. Sin is evil and when we succumb to it, we fail our Father.
The Bible encourages us to behave like Christians all of the time. We fight a powerful battle with a superior foe who possesses spiritual powers that we do not possess. In order to have a chance we must have God’s protection and help. This comes in the form of prayer, studying the Bible and fellowship with other Christians who face the same problems that we face. Satan knows our weaknesses and is going to offer them up to us on a silver platter. In order to reject them we must fight. Yes fight! We are at war and we must “fight” if we desire victory. According to the Bible, we can be victorious. We must do our part however.

How well do you know the Bible?
In every church there are divisive people. What advice is given in the Bible of how to deal with these people? (Which incidentally would be good advice with dealing with divisive people anytime.)
1. Witness to them
2. Avoid them
3. Argue with them
4. Become friends with them
