Prayer works!

The family of Elizabeth Smart is deeply religious. They never gave up on finding their daughter, and they and their community, never stopped praying for her. This in spite of conventional “wisdom” and the opinion of the majority. Prayer works! It has worked over and over in my life and I can say that with good conscience.Our country and world are facing perilous times. We need prayer from everyone. I would ask everyone to take a moment today and pray for the following:
1. President Bush – To give him clarity of thought and wisdom as our Commander in Chief. Also for his safety and the personal safety of his family.
2. Our soldiers – For their safety and quick victory over Saddam Hussein’s forces
3. Iraq – That their casualties will not be high and for a speedy recovery for their country.
4.Vindication – That the world will quickly understand just how heinous Saddam is, and how the USA and our allies were totally justified in removing this ruthless dictator from power.
5. That Usama Bin Laden will be captured and punished for his hateful crimes against humanity.

Again, powerful prayer is needed from all over the country, (and the world), as never before, as we struggle through these dangerous times. Please bow your head right now and ask almighty God to intervene against the forces of evil that are intensifying in this world.
